The prices are exactly the same as they were when we played United in 2015 and so far that policy has got a good reception among the fans.

See Sheffield Wednesday are offering fans refunds on season tickets, with the draw at Brunton Park seeming to the final straw for some going off their forum.

I had no idea that we wealded such awesome power, the power to crush the very spirit of our opponents with nought more than a goal-less draw. Goalless games at Brunton Park are rarer than hens teeth, with only two of them having taken place in the past four and a half years. The only other one was Luton and to their credit they managed to rebuild but only by selling several million-pound players, something that could yet have repercussions. I'm wondering if we should maybe ban them altogether, with us being given a free goal should any match get to 90 minutes and still be goalless.

Crewe, beware. I'm almost fearful of what we could do to football in this country should we ever become a force, we could destroy the Football League from the inside out. I reckon we'll become the defacto national side by 2050 as we will have eliminated all other football in the country by then.

Exactly. Not that many people get to watch Man Utd play so it's no ordinary game. Our fans so far think it's very fair.

I'm now hearing we wanted to price the tickets higher but Man U asked that we reduce them and auggested the 2015 pricing as a guide.

To be fair, Man United away fans are actually a loyal bunch who aren't the typical Man United fans.

Which isn't a surprise considering they are pretty much forced to go to every away game or they'll lose their membership.

That’s the problem we all would because as you say it’s our little old side playing one of the greatest sides in football. I’d be livid if we tried to charge our fans that much though. When we played Liverpool it was the same price as our league games at the time. I’d expect the same should we manage to beat Cardiff.

It should be capped at league game prices.

That said our R5 game v Millwall a few years ago was about £7 more expensive than a league game at £25.

I guarantee there won't be any prawn sandwiches because our catering is so disgraceful that they usually run out of food and drink before the game starts - that's not an exaggeration.

Probably the main difference in our case is that we have a lot of 'spare' capacity in our ground so if we sell out as a result of drawing a big club then the increased attendance alone guarantees a big payday.

I guess it also depends on whether ManU are willing to waive their right to half the profit from gate reciepts, which a lot of big clubs do against smaller clubs but no guarantee they will. I guess that if there isn't the spare capacity for a bumper attendance and ManU decide to be twats and take half the profit then you could actually be making less from the gates than a normal home game, but £30/35 still seems very steep.

Prices do have to be agreed between both clubs and given Man Yoo charged 45 quid for Derby fans last weekend I don't see the issue with Yeovil here.

I could be wrong but I don't think ManU are likely to be too bothered about the price for this game, they'd probably have agreed to almost anything Yeovil put forward.

I've heard from a very reliable source that we actually wanted to price it higher but Man Utd asked us not to and suggested the 2015 pricing structure, which is what we went with in the end.
