Nope, been moved to next Tuesday, when we were supposed to be playing York. So therefore that and Gateshead (who we were originally going to play today) need sorting, and if we are to get through finding a date for the York game, with us both having an extra 2 Saturday games moved to midweek, will be fun.

Edit: Apparently the York game has already been assigned the 28th March; no fun needed whatsoever.

Hmm, we're getting a big fixture pile up too. We'll already have to play 4 games in 8 days at one point in March and if we progress in the FA Trophy we might have to play at least 3 games every week, maybe 4 some weeks, for the rest of the season. Still 14 league games to play and potentially 9 cup games as we're still involved in 3 cups. Eek!

You could always concede next Tuesdays game if that would help.

Looking at Lincoln's fixtures the only free date to play us will be the 25th of April.

Leaves us with FGR, Lincoln & Tranmere as our last 3 games :eyes:
Game now been confirmed for that date.

Our game against FGR may have to be played at the very end of the season and become the 2nd to last game of campaign... that could get one hell of an attendance.

Edit: Confirmed 11th April... 5 home games out of the last 7 of season.

London council in "fuck you" to local club shock. If it's not one of the big boys, you can go to the wall for all they care.

Macc v Dulwich tonight. Winner plays Tranmere in the semis, home leg this Saturday. If we win then we will have 15 fixtures left to play and 8 Saturdays, 6 Tuesdays and 1 bank holiday to play them. I imagine Dulwich will be in a similar position should they go through.

We're clearly going to do a Halifax and win the trophy, having been relegated.

Well, we got a draw at Sincil Bank not long ago. We're no longer a disastrously terrible team, but we aren't a particularly good one either, and we don't seem to be able to play well for 90 minutes. I reckon we've got half a chance of getting past Lincoln. Either that or we'll get absolutely humped.

Macclesfield are beating us on aggregate in the league, I fancy them to do it in the cup too.
Hope not. Much as I love Macclesfield and we have a special relationship, the atmosphere at Wembley would be much better against Tranmere.

Anyway, getting ahead of ourselves here; semi-final still to come.

Cowley got his tactics all wrong for the League game, but you also physically got at us, which oddly we struggle with (see Barrow). By all accounts we had plenty of posession in the second half once Cowley switched things around, but couldn't finish. I think with Angol and Margetts we should be more clinical in the FAT. We shall see...should be a full house at the Bank I reckon.

I won't be able to attend at Bootham Crescent, but I'm hoping to be at Sincil Bank. If we can take a lead into that away leg we have a chance. If we get thrashed 4-1 at Bootham Crescent like we did in the league fixture then it'll be a bit of a pointless day out, but at least I can have a beer or two in Lincoln.

We do have the ability to be physical now, which we really didn't with McNamara's all stars.

That's probably because we haven't had one single home draw.

Of course. You have gone from getting crowds of less than 3 thousand to millions thru the turnstiles every week because you are such a big club. Enjoy your bandwagon while it lasts !!!

To be fair, we were always good for 3.5k-5k+ average in our league days. Not finishing above mid-table for 10 years doesn't help.

We're obviously getting decent attendances at the minute, but the higher ones (league) have just been the norm from our league days so nothing too unusual.

FA Cup has been slightly different but that's been down to the opposition and pricing.

Another brace of great goals from a Grimsby loanee. Much more professional performance than down in Dulwich but will need to really up our game for Saturday; play like we have done in the last 3 games and we may Arsenal it up and have no chance going into the 2nd leg. Going to be very tough especially as Tranmere effectively have a 1 goal head start as McNulty is guaranteed to score a header from a corner at our place...

Would imagine Mellon will hammer into our squad the importance of bouncing back and regaining "momentum" even if it is only the trophy. Probably 3-4 changes to last nights team, C.Jennings likely to start for us.. so that'll be interesting.

Went to the Macc-Dulwich game last night as I used to regularly go watch Dulwich during the many years I lived in the area. Shortly into the game I feared Dulwich were going to get mullered as Macc were chasing them down all over the pitch and Dulwich just couldn't string two passes together. However once Macc went 2 up Dulwich began to give a much better account of themselves and created some excellent chances that they should have put away. For periods of the second half they were actually the better side and by FT I thought they just about deserved extra time, though I don't doubt Maccs superior fitness would have shown by then.

Away from the game I thought Macc did a good job hosting the game - letting away fans in the McIlroy Suite and putting on some decent food - though some locals didnt have many kind words about County when I told them I was a fan :box:. I also particularly liked the huge photo of habitual criminal and notorious gangster Chris Byrne up in the McIlroy Suite :eyes:

Has Connor Jennings played for Macc in the Trophy while on loan though?
Expect we'll change the forward pairing, otherwise line-up as Barrow. Probably a narrow home win, to give us hope for the second leg.
