Looks like Forest are at home again for the next round, begging for an away tie against a lower league side, will end up at home to Wrexham on a Friday night.

I play off 13 so a nett 68 today for my course. The medal got canned today because of the fog which is a shame because a 68 would’ve been up there for sure
CBA myself on Saturday and golf seemed the better option. delayed start and then the hooter went as we had just finished 9. Still got me out of shopping and had our belated golf gang Xmas drink from 3pm in Rayleigh, so that was my Saturday.

Cup run of any format would have been nice, but not to be.

Good Luck to daggers for the rest of the season, except for the match at Roots Hall obviously :)

Our reserves will get us to the semi-final where we decide to put the first team in and lose in comical fashion. It’s our Buildbase mantra.

Notts County at home I think both of us would have rather avoided that.

Our draws in this are ridiculous, get another National League side every single time. Although ironically our two defeats in it have been against League Two and Isthmian League sides.

To be fair there was much worse draws out there, Halifax is a great trip and it’ll be a decent game.

Unreal for Stockport. 2 of Notts County, Halifax, Wrexham and Boreham Wood going out while they sail through with a piss easy draw.

Guess we've had it easy up until now though and we're at home, so I still think we should see it through. Think Boreham Wood and Notts County have got it worst here out of the NL sides.

Talksport 2 presenter yelping "fuck me that's hot" when he pulled Cheshunt's ball out for us I'm hearing?

Challinor masterclass.

Ha, I think our eyes on avenging that will probably more be on when we meet at ML in the league a week or so later than this one.

It's fine Stockport will just be FA Trophied out of league success. Think of the big picture :D

At least Halifax seem to play like a completely different team in the Trophy.

Is there any competition that Boreham Wood aren't still involved in by the way? Was half expecting their name to come out in the FA Vase draw.

Yes but we did get Grimsby in the first round. No doubt we'll get Wrex/Hfax/Boredom/Notts AWAY in the next round and the rules of this comp are not to take it serious until the QFs.

Brilliant, that's another reserve fixture for Rooney

Quarter final date is 12th March, unlucky for any Notts who fancied a weekender...

Still a number of decent teams left in it, it certainly won't be a walk in the park from here and I'd say any of the national league sides left in stand a great chance of a Wembley visit.

All of a sudden, this tinpot cup is starting to feel a little less tinpot. Would be nice to make up for our Wembley hiccup in 2015.

To be fair our record against anyone in a lower league since Wild took over has been truly shocking.. defeats to Kiddy. Halesowen town sure we lost at Southport too, and scraping through against BPA and Alfreton in this years trophy. We seem to do better against better sides

What a perfect opportunity for us to step aside and leave a promotion rival tied up in this pointless, tedious competition. Hopefully we'll take it :ds:
