Strange after last nights result, I'd consider a draw away at Reading as a decent point.

I dislike Chris Powell immensely but this is a shit decision from my point of view, they've had their 3 better players flogged (Butterfield, Coady, Smithies) and not replaced properly.

As with most of our sackings it appears harsh from the outside.

Of course we can't expect much more than 18th, we sell our best players for profit every summer and this season we've mostly relied on free transfers and loans, and only Brentford and Rotherham now get lower crowds than we do.

I'm pretty sure this is because of our extremely dull football, not giving youth a chance (until last night ironically), playing Ishmael Miller up front on his own, and our lowest crowds since Hoyle took over.

The initial odds for the new guy are seriously depressing though. Hasselbaink is up there but I doubt he'd come here with his hands tied. I hope we go for something different, our last 3 managers have been Grayson, Robins and Powell... doesn't get much duller.

I thought they had won more than 3 games TBH.

I guess Huddersfield haven't progressed as such from last season?

Dean Smith at Walsall would be great for you imo.

As folk have said above the result last night was a good one.. ..There's loads of clubs now who want to punch above their weight.and have unrealistic expectations.

Thought they played some decent stuff at times last night. As Walkley has said they get rid of their 3 decent players who they didn't replace and expect Powell to do better than last season. Don't think anybody is going to do a better job with that squad.

Might go Saturday now, least we'll see some fight n passion in a team under Lillis.

Aslong as we have someone who can instil some fight and passion into our team again and get the ground rocking.

Yes we sold our best players, but that's no excuse for half arsed efforts on the pitch and playing Ishmael Miller up top on his own.

How's Dempsey been playing? Noticed he wasn't get much game-time until the last few games, which is a shame as he looked a great talent with us last season.

Nailed on to beat us now. Always happens - manager gets sacked, team perform better.

Maybe that's Cellino's plan all along?

Poor Chris Powell :( What on earth did their owners expect having sold some of their better players over the summer?

Anyway... Paul Jewell is incredibly still available.

Only temporarily, but I expect he'll get given the job permanently by the same people who sacked him.
