Our team are weak just like the leadership of the club, I’ve no interest in this game only how the protest goes which sadly I’m away for. Tbf the team aren’t as bad as some make out, on their day they can beat the best and have done, but as beta males if they face a bit of adversity they cower. Had we equalised against Notts, Mansfield and Harrogate I think all the results could have been different, but they just give up if they miss a chance, they truly are pathetic. If some of the teams we’ve beaten had taken a chance first we’d have got battered to them as well, Wrexham being a prime example.

Yeah palmer will be a big threat given is irrational hatred of us as he wasn’t good enough

Wrexham will be a threat all game and would be happy with a point now.

I haven't been in ages because I'm the world's worst fan, but the Merlin is where a lot of the away fans drink. It's a mixed pub and *I think* the closest to the ground. If you like real ale, the Glue Pot is a fine old pub and where my and father and I go.

If you go to the Merlin you may bump into Indian Dan
I’m undecided whether to witness another terrible 90 minutes. Mrs Dan is keen on going cos we’ve got STs and wasting them! Wish they’d stop all the reserving of tables in The Merlin it really grips my shit.

I've never been in the Merlin. Usually have a couple in the gluepot.

Someone has posted on our forum that there is a pitch inspection at 10am...this isn't official confirmation from the club, so not sure what their source is...whether it is more wishful thinking than anything else.

We have had a lot of rainfall in the area in the last few days, so the pitch may be a bit damp, but that isn't a unique situation!

Just a short 14 hour train/rail replacement bus round trip today for the Grimsby fans.

Easily the hardest game of the season today, would still take a point now if offered, though we’ve certainly a chance of more.

Ideally not an MK win.

3 successive home games to accrington, crawley and forest green follow, so if worst comes to the worst we could stomach a little damage.

I'm back in the country and will be going today but there has been a lot of rain around (Noah would be building). No word from the club regarding a pitch inspection though.

From 35 degrees to this weather is brutal! 35°c to 35°f.

Game on but moderate rain forecast from around kick-off time...this one could be abandoned if it rains a bit...we have a history of this!

Bravo to all who make it here today....fine effort.....but to be honest from Lancaster to Barrow by bus or coach ain’t much slower than train.....I’d imagined the delay is waiting for boarding.

Far slower, it'd take double the time if not more from Lancaster going round all the stations between the two.

Managed to get my pre-match pint in Ulverston, that’s despite the M6 turning into a caravan park from about 11am…

So is Andy Cook injured, or has he been dropped?

Hewitt is playing his first game since he did his ACL a year ago, no Quinn or Maris either, hopefully I’m just overthinking it but I’m less confident seeing that.

Surprised no Cook, if fit, for Bradford given his inevitable goal(s) against us if in the starting xi.

Rovers were already known to be missing Connor Wood and Brad Walker. Jordan Turnbull absence is also a blow/puzzle depending on the reason and with Tom Davies returning from injury and Pike filling in at left-back, the defence looks a bit brittle. We haven't used the obvious midfield replacement for Walker in Merrie or McAlear, so it looks like the defence will be less protected than usual.

Hosts probably favourites. Reckon we'll need to score at least twice to have a chance of getting anything today.

Hewitt got taken out in the first few minutes, really poor challenge and he’s already off.

After seemingly sorting out our shite defence for 6 games we’ve now gone back to gifting teams goals again, gave Wrexham 2 gifts and now given a gift to Barrow too, can’t wait for this season to fuck off.

Mansfield been comfortably the better side but go a goal down around the half a hour mark.

Mansfield have certainly been the better team, I'm not sure how comfortably better you've been though- not much in it.

Also why is your keeper so fat?

Finding an issue with something you agree with is a waste of time mate.

I don't agree you've been comfortably better than us. You've been marginally better but you've gone a whole half without having a meaningful chance on goal. It's like Mansfield from the start of the season.

Fucking shite this. Barrow are a good side but we aren't half making it easy for them at times. We look so leggy. Rodgers, Clifton and Mullarkey having shockers at the back. Wood isn't an EFL player yet. Obikwu putting himself about but has got very little in the way of support, especially with Gnahoua going off. Would have brought Vernam on instead of Wilson there personally. If Rose is fit he needs to come on at half time.
