I don't agree you've been comfortably better than us. You've been marginally better but you've gone a whole half without having a meaningful chance on goal. It's like Mansfield from the start of the season.
No Mansfield from the start of the season was dominating and having loads of chances and still drawing 1-1 or losing.

Not created much but it was very comfortable for us before that goal, hence being comfortably better, in fact I think any (half) chances were all Mansfield. Comfortably better was fair, despite the lack of goal threat.

It’s evened up now, and I’m not confident we can turn this around, I reckon Macca legs are gone and he’s had to come on after Hewitt got taken out. We desperately need Cargill back because suddenly we have no idea how to keep clean sheets and our full backs are suspect.

We are comfortably better than you now.

I don’t think you know what comfortable is, how can be comfortable being a sergeant in the Defend Wrexham AFC regiment? It’s a full-time job

1 up at Salford. Long way to go. Smith for them is unplayable with the right service and has the ref in pocket with his cheating. Our Smith needs to learn a bit off that and go down a bit. We’ll do well to keep ahead.

Surprised no Cook, if fit, for Bradford given his inevitable goal(s) against us if in the starting xi.

Rovers were already known to be missing Connor Wood and Brad Walker. Jordan Turnbull absence is also a blow/puzzle depending on the reason and with Tom Davies returning from injury and Pike filling in at left-back, the defence looks a bit brittle. We haven't used the obvious midfield replacement for Walker in Merrie or McAlear, so it looks like the defence will be less protected than usual.

Hosts probably favourites. Reckon we'll need to score at least twice to have a chance of getting anything today.
Just a guess here but i don't think you are a motivational speaker for a living.

Not that odd for someone to defend the team they support.

I actually don't think either side has been 'comfortably better' than either. It's been a close game as you'd expect. Maybe it's you who don't know what the phrase 'comfortably better' means?

Never thought I’d see a team more comical at the back than us, but well played County!

Still can’t see them not scoring mind.

You’d argue with a brick wall given the chance, go grab a wet one and enjoy the lead.

I’ll take a draw if we can claw one back.

I don't generally want Salford to win anything (or for that matter, outside the present circumstances, for Sutton to lose), but come on Class of 92, pull your fingers out.

Rovers started brightly but Bradford got back into it and have had the better chances with McGee making some good saves. Saunders backheel saved on the line by the home keeper our best goal attempt.

I'm full of fury.

We've defended OK but you only need a slight improvement in your final ball and I can see you scoring. Could go either way this.

Erm I dunno what’s happened but Brunt and Swan off at half time.

I think Bowery is playing at CB

Akins RB so we got two strikers in defence, major change to our shape.

Finally won our first penalty of the season. Max Dean wins it 2 minutes after coming on and buries it. Big goal that to make it 2-0 just after half time and hopefully now onto 3 points vs a decent Walsall team.

Just as I say that Gilbey makes it 3-0. We are just too good at home…hopefully that is game over…

Let’s make it 5-0 and right the wrong of Stockport GD :woot:

Great goal by Donny.

Donny player sent off. I thought the ref was doing well to try to play an advantage after a bit of a bad foul but then he called it back and red carded the player....?

2-0 now after a penalty, looked the correct decision and that’s why you don’t play a #9 at centre back!

Actually being told it was out the box now, major decision against us if that’s the case.

Yeah the challenge was definitely outside the box. Bit of luck, difficult for the referee to see in real time to be fair.

4-0 Tomlinson.

Dean with 2 assists and a goal since coming on in the second half. Boy we have missed him during his lay off. Far too good for this league and only 20, absolute steal from Leeds for a small fee.

Just one more goal to make amends for Stockport.

And there it is…Max Dean scores it. 2 goals, 2 assists. What a result.

I am once again begging for Stuart Maynard’s departure. He’s broken us beyond belief, the individual errors feel symptomatic of the culture and our attack is now just despairingly blunt.

At this point, it’s not about getting someone better in, it’s about getting him out before he causes any more damage heading into the summer. Let O’Brien or some sort of computer software run the team for the last few weeks

Such a shame your owners didn't take up Warnock on his offer

Easiest win we'll pick up, literally no fight from FGR.

At least Sutton tried to get forward on occasion

Forest Green didn’t have a single shot on or off target at home.

If they survive Sutton and Colchester should be ashamed.

Meanwhile we’re top of the tree again… lovely stuff.
