I think that is a huge doubt, as Ipswich had something similar with Lambert who previously succeeded at other clubs (Norwich, Colchester) but had Culverhouse as assistant, and Lambert never succeeded anywhere (Aston Villa, Blackburn, Stoke, and Ipswich) after Culverhouse left. And seeing that Wigan is second in the table after battling relegation last season, it strongly suggests that Richardson was to Cook what Culverhouse was to Lambert.Looking at his past record, he generally gets it right eventually. The only doubt would have been whether or not it was actually Leam Richardson who was the real talent?
