What happens if Bolton liquidate during the season?

Not entirely sure, but would presume all points gained against them are taken away and the league would operate with 23 teams and 2 getting relegated?

Sometimes leagues provide enough capital to get them through to the end of the season so they can be liquidated without hurting the league and leaving them without fixtures, and their fans get a few more games. Think the Italian league did this to Parma a couple of years ago.

Maybe just wishful thinking given both Rotherham and MK beat Bolton....

Bolton's hearing has been adjourned to the 22nd Feb. They seem quite confident that they won't even go into admin.

They drew with us, so another 2 points would be lovely.

Hope they don't liquidate before 12th March anyway, been looking forward to that all season

Fuck, that 1 point we'd lose could put us right in a relegation battle.

Actually, Bolton going bust could really help us, we'd be the only ones to not lose points. Just need a few more of you to go bust and we'll climb the table in no time.

Bristol City play nothing like their league position suggests, completely nullified us and we was fortunate to have come away with a point. If they can build their team around Lee Tomlin in the summer and bring another striker in to partner Kodjia, I can see them really pushing on.

Same story all season mucker, we just don't put teams to the sword such is our lack of a clinical striker. Pie in the sky like, but if we'd have signed Gayle in the summer we wouldn't find ourselves in anything like this position.

That's only came into effect recently because Pemberton has solidified us, and for that reason I wouldn't mind him getting it until the end of the season. Under Cotterill we couldn't really nullify anyone.

Morale boosting point for Bolton and I can see them scrapping all the way.

I just wonder if we're going to get that classic scenario that the teams that have been relegation threatened all season (us current bottom five) all find that they're a little more battle hardened in terms of what's required than those immediately above them who suddenly find themselves in a scrap in the last month of the season?

Clutching at straws, maybe, but I think there's a lot more teams who are going to be in this scrap than most think and I wouldn't be surprised to see someone currently without a care in the world get dragged in.

Blackburn are my bet, took the punt on them at 34/1 struggling without Rhodes.

Fulham are definitely getting sucked in, they're only a few points ahead and the worst form in the league. Blackburn possibly could too, I don't think anyone above that needs to worry.

Fulham would have been in trouble if they'd have lost one of McCormack or Dembele, think they'll score enough goals to not be in any trouble though.

One win in their last ten games suggests otherwise.

They're pretty damn lucky that the sides below them aren't picking up many wins then.

I'm only judging them of what I've watched of them, they were ruthless at AG as I'm sure you'll remember - and I've watched them a few times on the box and they've looked decent going forward.

Jordi Gomez is a good signing for Rovers, I think they'll have enough to stay up unfortunately.

Although I think we will go down, we do have two games in hand on most of the teams around us.

Blackburn's defence will see them avoid trouble. Similar to us.

You were talking about POs after you beat us a couple of months back!

Then we sold important players and have only won 1 league game since.

Lots of new grounds for me too to be fair, we'd piss it too so I wouldn't mind.
