To be fair, he's alright I don't think he's on the wind up.

Gt my ticket for this weeks ago, still haven't decided how I'm getting there yet though :dk:

= this bit I doubt even :woot:more than your cuckoo story

Had plenty of conversations with ciderup on the old board!

Anyway, I can see how it appears to be 'trolling' or whatever so I'll leave you to it. Good to see both Brizzle teams doing well in their respective leagues, 34k tickets sold with weeks to go is not a bad number from you lot at all!

Not a bad number? It's a cracking number. Agree with blade that it can be seen as positive or negative mind you. All booked now, 40 quid (group fare) on the train is a bargain (well compared to normal fares these days!)

Fair play to Walsall, pushing towards 30K now - great numbers from them. Could well be looking at 70K+

I was so disappointed when we got Walsall, as I wanted a big final against PNE numbers wise, but all credit to Walsall, they've sold very well - and it could well go onto be 70k+ for a JPT final, which is a very good effort.

What do people reckon the attendance will be overall, we could well sell out our allocation, Walsall pushing 30,000 which would pretty much instantly make 70,000 minimum, the record is just shy of 81,000... chances?

Wouldn't back Preston to sell 30k to be honest, so perhaps Walsall will bring a bigger crowd.

69,000 is my guess. We'll just about sell our allocation but no more and 30k Walsall.

We would. Despite all the ridiculous apathy our fans have towards the JPT, our first trip to the new Wembley would draw in all the part timers.

36,700 sold as of 10am this morning. How are Walsall doing? Never thought we would sell out to be honest.

I had a feeling we might. Horray for the plastics, lets just hope some of them come again!

Where you get that figure from mate? Club tweeted 5 mins ago saying the total was at 35,800.

Not bad for the JPT. Rotherham only took 18k to the play off final didn't they?

Good effort from both sides, hopefully we can sell our allocation and Walsall can pass 30,000

Not sure how many from each team, but the overall attendance was 43k we are currently at 22k more than that between us

A terrific effort from both sides , either way. No disrespect to City, but I hope Warsaw win ( as you have the title pretty much sorted)

35,000 was the JPT final attendance between P'boro and Chesterfield last year - we've already exceeded that alone

Yes, although most are day trippers never to be seen again at the Bescot, I'm quite proud of where the club stands in the community, in that we can pull this kind of following. As Deano said on the radio after the game vs Preston, virtually the entire of the black country or the west midlands has either a soft spot or a second club following for Walsall - it's generally why when we need to, we can pull a decent following, or home gate off.
