35 year old former Wolves left back Lee Naylor was playing for our reserves against Vale on Tuesday. He will just be keeping himself fit. We have 2 left backs and I wouldn't want anything stunting the growth of Rico Henry. Sem De Wit a 20 year old centre back recently at ADO Den Haag also played and was very promising apparently.

We've signed Marvin Sordell... supposedly quite decent but admittedly I have no idea about him though. Decent pedigree.

I know Swindon were interested in him but given Kent has never played a professional competitive match how do you know he's far too good for L1?
Watched him play both in the U21 league and against Town in pre-season. He reminds me of Alex Pritchard, who Swindon benefited greatly from a couple of years ago.

Oh, and Spanish club Celta Vigo have announced that Yelko Pino, one of their youth prospects, has joined Town on loan. No confirmation this end, though. Odd.

Cool, I'm excited we've managed to sign a highly rated talent. Hoping he does the business on the pitch now.

Well, surely that could be a brillant signing?

He sounds good, but I know nothing about him really. I recognise the name, but couldn't tell you what he's like etc.

Sounds like an exciting signing, and we have been desperate for a striker so that's a pleasant surprise too!

Kent: "There was interest from a number clubs, some in the Championship, but Coventry stood out for me."

So he's batshit crazy then.
We could of signed him. He is from Oldham and is a latics fan along with his dad. Said he would of definitely signed for us but we wernt willing to pay the percentage of wage Liverpool wanted. That's sums up our board.

Looks like Town may be about to re-sign Louis Thompson on loan from Norwich. I'd be over the moon with that; I felt our form deteriorated after he got injured last season and we were told that Norwich preferred a Championship loan for him in 2015/16, so to re-sign him, even only until January, would be a huge statement of intent and a fourth or fifth rabbit out of Lee Power's proverbial hat in the last few weeks.

This transfer has since been denied by Town. Bizarre.
Now confirmed he is arriving in January.

We have also signed the fantastic Louis Thompson from Norwich. Brilliant to get him back in a Swindon shirt alongside his brother again.

Well whenever I've seen him play he's been wank, but that was Prem/Champ so maybe this is his level.

Fair one haha. Sounds like we are going to sign Jamie Jones on loan today as well, any good?

Complete shite for us, did ok for Orient at this level though, supposedly.

In terms of dealing with crosses, i've never seen anyone worse, not even Andy Lonergan.

He was adequate for us. Pretty big standard League One goalkeeper. Weakness from long range though and can make some lovely errors, my favourite was when he chucked a ball literally to Bradley Wright-Phillips for him to tap into an empty net for Charlton.

We signed former Villa midfielder Chris Herd today. I remember him being a good player in a poor Lincoln side many years ago but he seems to have done very little in recent years. I think injuries have been his problem, hence the short term deal he's got.

Also we've taken a right back from WBA by the name of Jack Fitzwater on loan.

Herd is another ex Vale player to join you. We had him on loan for a few months the year we got relegated to league 2.

Had him on loan last season, after Josh Lillis let a couple of softish goals in. Not totally awful, but not wonderful either.

Deano has confirmed that Miles Addison will not be offered a contract after he had trained with us a few times in the last couple of weeks. His fitness isn't up to the required standards and he's been offered something by Blackpool.

Not related to any specific players, but Dunn says he has identified a few targets that he wants to sign in the next week or so.

Rhys Turner has joined York City on a month's loan.

Think Rhys Murphy is also going out loan - possibly t Crawley.

I think we're expecing two in between now and Saturday - a ST and a player from Blackburn (hopefully Chris Taylor)

Best would be a fantastic signing and would tie in with us letting two strikers go out on loan, cant see it though.
