Unconfirmed League Two outfit are hoping to sign Gary Liddle but he says he wants to stay.

I think the club might be keen to let him go for around £150k.

Dave Syers (just released by Scunny) being touted on our message board.

Very good player before he got injured, but has hardly played for two years...

Hmn...

Luke Prosser and 2 more want out.

Bid rejected from Northampton for Prosser in summer looks stupid now we should of let him go.

One of the other 2 I think is David Worrall, reported that Bury made a bid last week. He's been in and out the team this year and all his family are from Manchester so just think that makes sense, wouldn't be surprised if he goes this week. Could be a great signing for them.
Kevan Hurst would be my other guess. Been crap for past 2 seasons so not really arsed. Brown gave him a chance again this season and it didn't work out. We will be in the market for a right winger if these 2 do leave.

We also have Jamar Loza on trial from Norwich with a view to a loan. Port Vale are now interested so if we don't have him then he could well be heading to Burslem

Syers was excellent for us, considering we were his first professional contract too. A centre mid that was constantly breaking to get into the box (something we've not had this year), he earned us a fair few points with those goals but PP didn't seem to take to him, he got injured just before Parkinson was appointed and spent the best part of the season out before we released him, only for him to get a contract in L1 with Scunny whilst we were still in L2. I'd be interested to see if he's spent as much time out injured than he's been fit since he turned pro. For that reason I'd be surprised if a team in our division would take him on and would've guessed a Guiseley/Halifax would have him for the rest of the season, someone closer to home where he can prove his fitness. He's a top draw cricketer also for he record.

Rumoured to be signing Elliot Lee on loan until the end of the season. Can't say I was too impressed with him the first time around, so not a particularly exciting signing.

Our CEO has all but confirmed we've bid £1m for Bradley Dack in a phone-in tonight.

Connor Washington Posh to QPR for £3m. How do they get such good fees?

Stay well clear if so, definitely not worth that.

He's not worth that, he's worth considerably more. An offer of £1m is nothing short of an insult. It's going to take a pretty considerable financial package to tempt him to switch given that we could be the league above you next season.

Considering what Bristol City were prepared to pay for some players in the summer,I reckon we should just massive inflate any asking price from them. They have the money, and haven't exactly been hiding that fact away. We don't need to sell, we're in good financial health, and Brad could be the difference in promotion or not. Add in that he still has 2 and a half years on his contract and a bid of 1 million is quite hilarious.

Considering peterborough are getting 3 million for Washington reckon we got to be looking at 2.5 million as a minimum

Yeah, you're much better off chasing strikers that don't want to sign for you for four times that.
Dack's not worth £2m, none of the strikers we've bid for have justified their ridiculously inflated price tags either, but I'm hoping now SC has gone it'll put a stop to all this transfer market madness.

I heard it's because they don't want to interact with Barry Fry any longer than they need too.

Don't get so arsey about it. It may be a derisory bid in your view, and Dack is absolutely worth more than £1m to Gillingham, but don't let that delude yourself. Anything more than £1m for him and you've overpaid for a player that's only really done it at this level for a season now.

To be fair these players are often over inflated price wise to the team that they play for but rarely will players like Dack go for what is expected and a million is probably not far off what Gills will get.

Certain clubs command bigger fees because of their reputation of developing players hence Crewe and Peterborough often seem to get huge fees, Assombalonga for example wouldn't have commanded the fee Posh got at most other clubs.

A good example is Nahki Wells, Bradford fans were brining out four million quid values etc... Didn't he go for a fraction of that in the end?
