Fleetwood have signed Shola Ameobi for the rest of the season.

If he is fit that could be a very good signing for them.

Wonder what his wages are?

We have signed Aaron holloway from Wycombe. Apparently turned down a new contract at Wycombe and hasn't been getting a game as a result. Wycombe fans rate him.

Holloway's looked disinterested all season, but has showed flashes of genuine quality, on his day he has good hold-up play, strength and presence. Could go either way for you but the potential is there.

A lot of us don't,can be lazy and moody which makes him frustrating to watch. Did well at the end of last season but has for some reason gone downhill and wasn't picked as he didn't justify a spot in our starting XI so sulked.

We've signed Fulham striker George Williams on-loan until the end of the season.

He came off the bench yesterday and was quite impressive. Hold up play and laying it off was excellent, though he struggled to keep onside a few times.

Shame. Always liked Jim O'Brien.

At least we have Stephen Hunt, the 34 year old version of Jim O'Brien :ffs:

Jordan Slew to Chesterfield.

And in other news, I'm about to ask Jordan Slew's wonder-agent to get me a contract at Barcelona.

Wes Burns joined Fleetwood on loan from us. Potentially fantastic academy product - already made the Wales national squad and is a regular for the U21s. He's got pace to burn (excuse the pun) and has been our standout performer in a few games for us this season. He'll do fantastically well in this league.

Awful player, Adams hunted him for a couple of seasons, we got him on loan, booted a Fleetwood player costing us a game and never seen again. Made Ben Williamson look like Pele.

Just think, Jordan Slew once cost Blackburn £1.1m. Crazy how fast his star has fallen. Surprised he still gets games in league one.

He wanted first team football, which is fair enough as he will never get in ahead of Cole, Maddison and Fleck.
He's had plenty of first team football this season and would have continued to have plenty of minutes between now and the end of the season, basically he had a strop because Mowbray wouldn't guarantee him a starting place every week.

Liam Agnew, a Sunderland midfielder, scored two for the reserves this afternoon, more likely with an eye on next season

He was 'okay' for us... Bit underwhelming but did at least score a couple of times, surprised a L1 club has taken him on loan tbh.

He was brilliant for us in a very, very short spell a couple of years ago which I suspect is the whole basis for bringing him back as he's not done much since, if not gone backwards.

That aside, he's probably the best we could have got given our situation, and most definitely an improvement on Callum Saunders, but more a token gesture in this "fight" against relegation (lol) than anything.
