Bury sign Dan Gardner from us for the rest of the season.

Hopefully the decent game he has in 5-6 will be against one of the teams down the bottom!

I reckon you're bigging him up a little there.

Rhys Murphy has gone to Wimbledon on loan.

Frees up another loan space which I believe will be Andy Kellett on loan from Wigan. Be happy with that as we need a decent left sided player.

He's a decent player that lad. Turned the game around for Wigan at our place.

The exodus begins already with Neill Collins joining Tampa Bay Rowdies (or sumat like that) with immediate effect. 1 down, 20 to go.

This absolutely stinks, from Peterborough, again...

Mark Tyler has been given permission to talk to Posh after they courted him on transfer deadline day through Twitter and their chairman. Tyler, who has played 297 times for Luton, made some comments about wanting to go back, despite never sending in an official approach.

Luton signed highly rated Jonathan Mitchell yesterday and Jones mentioned in his post match interview that Tyler has a back problem, although Barry Fry and Jones had been talking for a while. Tyler will become player/goalkeeping coach at the club.

Is there a reason why they couldn't wait until the end of the season? With him out of contract anyway?

He has a back injury and is out of contract at the end of the season, so I fail to see your problem he might not have played another game for you this season if his problem persists.

I expect the reason for announcing now is two fold
1. Our goalkeeper coach left so we need one
2. Moral is so low right now and doubt next years season ticket sales are going well so they think announcing a club "legend" is returning to try to boost moral and sales.

I would expect us to try and get a couple of loans in now as Loft and El Abd both got injured on Saturday.
Getting bloody ridiculous now with Dack, Egan, Jackson, List, Loft, El Abd, Chicksen and McDonald all out.
What a time to get an injury crisis.
We couldn't even fill a bench against Crewe and that was before Loft and El Abd got injured.

Oshilaja seems the obvious first choice, he hasn't featured for Cardiff at all. Additionally, another Aaron Morris style player (seeing as Morris is seemingly centre back for a while) would be useful, as the midfield is starting to get as stretched as the defence now.

It's all getting a bit silly.

It is indeed getting rather silly.
I agree about Oshilaja but I wonder if something has gone on behind the scenes here.
It seemed that a loan deal had been agreed, indeed Edinburgh said as much but then Cardiff said they needed him even though he hasn't played for them.
I wonder if Cardiff messed us about so we effectively told them to shove it.
Either way we need reinforcements as we are really stretched now.
The Loft one on Saturday looks long term.

Max Ehmer will cope. We have enough for a first 11 just about, we just have no depth. Fully expect us to go attacking at Southend anyway, that's what we're best at.

Rhys Williams from Boro - “I’ve met the manager at Bradford and they are keen to do something straight anyway … they are a big club that’s doing well and chasing promotion,” Williams said.

Looks like we're bringing Chris Taylor back from Blackburn, after Wolves recalled Jed Wallace.

What sort of player is he? All I know is some sort of midfielder.

Winger, either side, left footed. Likes to cut in a lot, has good feet, pace and can take on a man. Inconsistent at the moment, but can be a game changer, which is why it's frustrated me so much Dagenham don't utilise him that much. I imagine a lot of it is to do with defensive solidity, but to be honest he's not exactly a liability. Possesses decent technical quality also. Not exactly physical but I wouldn't say he was lightweight either. By no means the finished product.

And the exodus continues...

Scougall to Fleetwood and Campbell-Ryce to Chesterfield.

Both rank average league one players, nothing against either and (in particular Scougall as he's still young) I hope they go on to have decent careers.

Am liking how fast Adkins is working to ship out players, hope it continues. A Charlton style rebuilding is needed for us in close season.

Happy with Crofts back. Oddly, I know his Dad through work, and we were discussing the possibility of him coming back next season if we went up. He didn't seem to think it was out of the realms of possibility, but to get him in this league is quite a coup.
