He was alright here, decent option to chuck on from the bench but never really looked like he would pull up many trees. I'm not sure he was ever fully fit which didn't really suit his workmanlike style.

That's what I get from looking at his stats. Decent career in terms of quality of clubs played for and goals.per game, but not playing that many games per year.

I would have had him back here but that's mainly because we are lacking bodies up front. In terms of a free transfer for this league it's a decent signing if you can get him playing regularly.

Wouldn't call him 'fantastic', talented certainly, good touch and a decent finisher but always looked overweight and even after coming off the bench a few times and scoring some important goals, PP would never start him the following week. I liked him but can't say I was bothered when we let him go, wouldn't expect a goal tally in double figures from him

On a serious note though there's a rumour on Twitter that Smurf is in dialogue with Leon Best

Stats don't show that he's ever been prolific but scored goals at the highest level and I am sure he would offer plenty at this level

Smurf has confirmed in dialogue with Leon Best... Also looks like Saleiro wage may be put to giving Enoch what he wants to stay. Happy if we keep him!!!

Heard Bolton had a bid accepted for Cameron. Hope he doesn't go tho I suspect he will.

Played a massive part in Rotherham's survival under Warnock last season mate, would be a great signing.

We've offered Nathan Delfouneso an offer (I presume a short term deal) and waiting on another which we assume is Keshi Anderson. Just need Palace to sign a striker!

Dan Agyei on loan from Burnley rumoured to be confirmed today. Scored a load for Wimbledon U21s, seems a similar deal to the Armstrong one.

Local journo reporting a keeper is set to sign today subject to medical, not Lee Grant. Rumour is Simon Moore...obviously we're all hoping for Joe Hart though

Linked to Matt Green, an (uninspiring IMO) 29 year old Mansfield striker, their manager has basically said he'd only go for silly money

Jake Gosling has left us to join Cambridge on a six-month loan.

Has ability and is technically decent, but he probably isn't up to this level of football. I do think a consistent run of games would do him the world of good, so hopefully he'll get that at Cambridge and come back full of confidence.

Same as you said about Conor Thomas, then. He's been pretty good for us so far.

Quality signing.

Or not.

Least he'll be binned in May if he's as woeful as pretty much everyone is saying.

Another point - people labelled Ajose shit when we signed him before netting us 700K. Sometimes all it takes is the right club and system.

There we go, managed to convince myself Delfouneso will end up on 25 goals for the season.

Ajose not impressing much at Charlton yet, either.

You're right - horses for courses.

Jack Payne on trial with us. The shitter one :(
Jack Payne is not shit.
Play him in he right position, in the centre of midfield, ad he could do a good job for you.
A very good passer of the football.
He fell out with the hierarchy at Posh apparently (after being made captain) and as for Orient, well the state of that club for the last couple of years means it is not surprising that anyone can struggle to settle.
There is a good player in there.

I saw him last season. I can confirm he won't do that.

Perhaps not in a team of gap toothed hoof donkeys but in our cultures team that likes to play on the floor, he just might turn out to be decent.

Not many positives from fans of previous clubs that he has 'graced' but will wait until he has played a few games for us before I write him off.
