A couple of people have suggested his name on our forum, but I don't think the club have shown any interest yet. Obviously that can all change, do you think he could make the step up?

He has all the ability to make he step up. Big, strong, quick and at a good age.

Worth a punt on a free if you ask me.

This is a real issue of conscience for me. Do I take the glory hunting route and go for Temple Meads ( 14 platforms, count 'em and weep) or stick with dear old Filton Abbey Wood's 2. I shall give it some thought.

We are possibly signing Long from Sheff Utd on a season long goalkeeper loan. Also supposed to be in for James Alabi from Chester which is a bit of a peterborough type punt on a long shot imo.

We have struggled for several years now to find a decent keeper.

Coventry, MK Dons, Doncaster an Northampton are interested in Michael Bostwick. Wycombe's Aaron Pierre will supposedly be signed to replace him if he goes.

Another potential departure is Marcus Maddison. If he goes the club are apparently looking at Crawley's Jordan Roberts.

We're in need of a right back. Liam Shephard is training with the squad in Spain and we're also interested in Rob Hunt from Brighton.

Our train station has 7 platforms and our airport has 1 runway. We've got 2 RAF camps though if they count.

I can't see it being us, we will only sign a centre half permanently now any other business would be loans unless we sell

To posters above, Bostwick is a utility player, he can play at centre half, centre mid and defensive mid. He arrived at us as a defensive mid but has played the last couple of years at centre half. He's a die hard player and will give 110% every game (something a lot more of our players need to do) but he is prone to a mistake and he isn't the quickest player in the world either. I wouldn't be particularly disappointed to see him go as he's very much replaceable.

He hasn't travelled to Spain with the other players either...

We appear to have signed George Long from Sheff Utd on a season long loan. They appear to think he is shit which bodes well for the season ahead.

Apparently Reeves has now passed his medical expect it to be announced tomorrow evening, He was on snap chat with Poleon in Leeds as well.

Gillead also expected to sign on loan this week, so we need to focus on a decent centre back and our team will be more or less there. Not heard any links so far other than a few lads from Coventry, but just fans chat not a source or concrete rumour.

Ideally we would bring in an attacking mid as well, possibly on loan.

Sounds like he'd be cover for us then, as we have Walsh and Wootton in CB and our midfield is looking pretty solid now. Sounds like he'd be better cover than Paul Downing though, so I'm for it.

Rumours that Christian Walton has been at our (Portsmouth) training ground and also had talks with Wigan. Not suprised as I expect our goalkeeping coach had him on his list and cook wouldn't know how to scout a keeper if his life depended on it, so has probably just taken that list with him to Wigan.
