We're taking a look at 22 year old Alex Plummer, just been released by Man City. Couple of loans spells with Oldham and ST Mirren.

We're apparently interested in signing THIRTY-SIX year old Gordon Greer.

Lovely.

We haven't had an Alex Plummer. If you actually meant Ellis Plummer, then you'd be right to state he had a loan spell with us.

Comfortably one of the worst loanees we've ever had.

I'd have rather had an actual plumber at LB.

Indeed! Ellis Plummer.

We are focusing on youth, too - so this lad, if offered anything, will just go straight into our development squad, as we already have Chicksen, Killgallon, Tyrell Robinson who cover the LB position.... and in some respects, Knight-Percival.

Best attribute is his crossing and set piece delivery. Not the best defender in the world but got better during his time with us. Nice bloke and a more than competent back up left back - a position we need adequate cover in given Meades' injury issues
Im delighted he's back...think he can do a very decent job for us. Need some more in midfield though. Also, I had a dream that Kelle Roos had signed for us permanently...

We are being linked with Conor Ronan. Any good?

Very good, probably the best kid we have had through the academy since robbie keane/joleon lescott. Would have thought he'd be around the first team this season, but he'd be great in L1.

He broke into the first team around January and had played ever since, until an injury ruled him out a few weeks before the end of the season. He was managing nearly an assist every game up until then.

Yes.

If he's available for a loan I'm surprised we've not made enquiries - but we do already have a lot of options in attacking midfield.

Sounds very talented then, which probably means it's made up.

I assume this is just to increase his transfer fee when he returns to Teyn. Great news for Charlton fans, one of the best players in the league.

Fully expecting him to be playing in the Championship the season after next (barring any injuries etc) but with him signing this new contract, the chances of it being with us have gone right up.

No matter what happens in the rest of this window, this is definitely the signing of our summer.

So glad we gave Holmes away for nothing a few years back. Quality stuff from our club legend / former manager Andy Awford. Other than Jed Wallace, he was the only decent player we had at the time. Be very wary of giving the top job to an unproven club stalwart.

He did really well. An excellent player. I'm not sure why Rangers don't want him. We are in for him as well so it looks like he will be choosing between the two of us.

I remember Holmes scoring the only goal against you lot at Sixfields just after you let him to go us permanently. 'There's only one Andy Awford' sung from the home end, God I miss Holmes and fucking good he was.

We've signed goalkeeper Dean Henderson on a season long loan from Manchester United.

In his interview it said that he rejected 22 other clubs to join us, West Brom and numerous Championship clubs were apparently interested.

Reading the thoughts of Grimsby fans, it seems like this is quite a coup for us. Contender to have the best keeper in the league already? ;)

Yeah, he is class. Unfortunately for you, Hurst will just stick him on the bench. How many ex-Mariners is that now? 5?

He should start as Leutwiler is apparently on his way out.

Henderson
Toto
Rodman
Nolan
John-Lewis

So yeah, 5 ex Grimsby players. Toto has been amazing for us but Rodman blows hot and cold as wingers do. He does like to take a man on though, so I'll give him that.

Can anyone here shed light on who the league 1 club is showing interest in Cheltenham Town's Harry Pell?
