My first thought was Gillingham but wasn't sure with having a different manager.

Really wouldn't be sad to see him go, any time he's played for us he's either made a costly mistake or got himself sent off.

That would be a big coup, i'd take him here as Hugill's replacement (if he goes to Birmingham), only a season ago he was scoring regularly for Reading and commanding a £3m fee.

I think since that time he has been told not to train with the first team as he is no longer wanted. Dont really know a lot about him but from what I read he was pretty effective at this level before which is fine by me.

Brown said this on Saturday so it must be quite recent... I think it was a polite way of saying 'you can't afford me' as for 95% footballers it's all about the money at the end of the day.

Think he would be a good signing for this level though. A shame we couldn't pull it off.

i believe his agent has been drumming up interest over the summer to force the club into giving him a new deal, that's all it'll be. I think he'll sign a new contract this week.
