It's nothing compared with the budget you had when you were down here, but it certainly gives us a real chance.

Obviously, a lot depends on who we sign, but we need to be looking at the play-offs at a minimum.

Good luck with that. Big crowds, good club and I've always liked your club's attitudes towards the fans with low pricing. Deserve to be playing higher up.

We're signing a goalkeeper either today or tomorrow....

I can hardly contain my excitement...

If it's the same name as I was given last week, there will be a bit of irony to it. It is, Thorsten Stuckmann

Best ever German goalkeeper according to some of our fans.

I'n reality he's a decent keeper if given a run of games. If he comes in for the odd game he'll drop clangers.

Aye, Stuckmann confirmed to Donny.

He's an average L1 keeper who, for some reason, a lot of our fans think is far better than he actually is. Solid signing but I'd be worried if he was your 1st choice.

I imagine Woolford will go to a L1 club as well.

He's alright, blows hot and cold, very inconsistent. He had a spell for us where he was on fire every week, and the chip over Julian Speroni springs to mind, and I think our fans even started sing 'There's only one Martyn Woolford, one Martyn Woolford, used to be shite, but now he's alright, walking in a Woolford wonderland' and then he went back to being utter dogshite again :ffs:

Oh - and he looks like a bit of a ponce as well.

That's reassuring because he will be :bl:

Woolford is the most mediocre player I've ever seen turn out for us. On his day he can contribute a goal or an assist. The rest of the one you wouldn't even know he was there.

Think he's being undersold to you by Tom and Zander personally, he's a good keeper at this level when given a run, was unlucky to be dropped when we signed Johnstone as he kept something like 10 clean sheets in his 18 games for us last season. Can be rash at times but I think he's a good signing for anyone in this league.

He's also a proper character who the fans will take to immediately.

I think shocking is a tad harsh?!

He was young, and made of glass when he was with us, injured all the time. I think the potential was there.

This. He was a great prospect, and looked good whenever he played (Newcastle game stands out) but his time here was just wrecked by injuries.

Glad to see he's fighting his way back

Christian Ribeiro off to Swindon according to our local paper.

Great player and our POTY. If he goes, we wish him well and he's more than good enough to do well in L1.
Wasn't very good for us in L1 to be honest, sounds like he's been class at Exeter though.

Maybe he was actually amazing Don, but you never realised because no-one else matters when you have the amazing Paddy Madden.

Sums him up perfectly from his time here.

Think he'd do okay in L1 though. Reminds me a bit of Scott Wagstaff, in that he can do everything 'alright' without enough quality in any particular department to cut it at a higher level

I'd have Wagstaff over Woolford every single day of the week.

Admittedly, we seen them play in City shirts at different levels, and was our second best player last season behind JET IMO. Obviously, everyone will claim Baldock was because of his goal record, but the reality is that if he'd of converted even 50% of the chances he had last year, he'd would have probably hit 35.

If it weren't for him and JET carrying our squad through, we'd probably would have been in L2 last season.

Oh I like Waggy. He's a good L1 player, works hard and a valuable member to have around the squad, and I agree he's one of few who could hold their head high after that season.

It's no coincidence he's been in 2 title winning sides at this level, but I think in the Championship he'd be similarly mediocre. Hence why Charlton let him go.

The two just strike me as very similar types of wide player, which is why I reckon Woolford would be a decent signing for Bradford, or anyone at this level. As would Wagstaff, who might well be surplus to requirements, but he wouldn't be available on a free

Brandon Ormonde-Ottewill set to be our first Summer signing.

After some research, he's came through Arsenal academy.

Clearly taking leaves out of our book, as many of our regular starters last season came through Arsenal's academy

Ribs showed a lot of promise for us when he first came into the team, I had high hopes for him. More injury prone than Michael Owen, though.

Definitely a L1 standard player if he hasn't regressed since the time he was with us.

As for Woolford, absolutely shocking for the vast majority of his time with us. Summed up the 12/13 season pretty well by looking great for two of the first three games and then reverting to the norm. Shame we couldn't have sold the rest of the squad in the January of that season.
