We’ve signed Elliot Bennett from Blackburn on a 1 year deal and Ryan Bowman for an undisclosed fee from Exeter on a 2 year deal.

Very happy with those, especially Bennett. Statement of intent with our signings so far this summer!

Great signing for Donny, he'd been linked with QPR the last month or so and that felt like the right level, so they've got a coup here.

Definitely the Wellens factor but also I would assume he wants to be a part of what Ritchie is trying to build.

Bowman is decent in L2. Works hard and scores about 1 in 3. Not sure he will score as many in L1 but certainly not a bad signing for you!

Quite a few L1 clubs were in for him too. He’s worth a fee, admittedly not a huge one, but no way would we let him leave for free while under contract.

Surprised we did not offer him another year. In his first year he was injured most of the season. Much better in his second season. He was much better in a back four than a three. Pretty quick. Did one of the best goal saving tackles I have ever seen at this level. Reasonably good on the ball. Should do well for you.

King Arthur signed for the shrimps. Mendes Gomes & Arthur on the wings will be bloody dangerous for full backs. Good to see him get a L1 club, very humble & likable pro who can change games late on from the bench. Proper tidy player with magic in him if given the freedom, wish him all the best

Possibly. 4 good options at centre back now. We started last season with Santos, Delaney, Taft, Greenidge, Baptiste. And we’ve kept the best 2 and added 2 that played a lot of games in league 1 last season. On paper it certainly looks a lot better. After a gk I think it will be mainly loans to finish the squad off. A left back, wide player or 2 and a striker to compete with Doyle. Maybe a right back at a push but happy with Jones and Brockbank on that side atm.

If you continue to defend your own box and hit teams on the break this season Delaney could be a good addition. He’s not great on the ball so didn’t suit us but very solid in the air. He’s still pretty young too. It’s no risk on a free. Natural left footer to complement Lavelle. He would have been 4th choice for us purely because of the playing out from the back which i assume is why he turned down a new contract.

Gnahoua is a great impact player. Went missing a lot when he starts but he’s great at taking a man on and very much 2 footed. Scored a couple of important goals for us.

Good signing - I was expecting him to go down to L2, probably Salford, so his agents done a good job getting him a 2yr deal at a bigger L1 club. De definitely divided our fans but personally I was sorry we didn't offer him a deal as he's been largely pretty good for us. Has a mistake in him certainly as many young defenders in L1 tend to. Very physically strong and quick, not the greatest with the ball at his feet, and benefits when playing alongside an older experienced partner...

Good to hear, he will be alongside big Tom Anderson and will have Andy Butler coaching him so that should help him, it will be strange to see a big strong fast centre half playing for us, not had one like that for a few years.

He is quality and will only get better.
I don’t think £200k can be a serious bid as Scally will not let him for less than a million.

Was still under contract like Ehmer and presumably told he wouldnt get any games so was allowed to leave.
Looked like a world beater for 1 or 2 games but awful after that, and looked totally lost defending when Barton did give him a game
