Only managed 61 games in 3 years and 28 of those were in the first season.

He's a good player when fit and can play left back when required and do a good job.
I understand why we didn't offer him new terms but I was quite sorry to see him go.
He's one of those players that you know would be really good if only he could stay fit.
Unfortunately he just starts playing well and then injury strikes again.
239 games in 11 seasons as a Pro tells you pretty much what the expect from him.

The word here was he was going back home to Scotland, so I am surprised he is going so far south.

Apparently he had a long medical under Cowleys orders I suppose to check out the foot. You never know either way with breaks. Sometimes they never heal properly.

We’ve reportedly beaten off competition from Charlton & Lincoln for Coventry goalkeeper Marco Marosi. Coventry fans seem to rate him which is always a good sign and it’s another player we’re paying a fee for. More tidy business from Cotterill!

Yeah been confirmed, presented in local rag as right sided CB and full back. 26 or so starts over two seasons is not great. Lowe has learnt his error of last year and has more experienced defenders. Whether they can play his system we’ll see.

Bolton is what you'd call a no nonsense full back. Tough in the tackle. Not that quick and will get a few from set pieces. No thrills.. Smashed through one of the arsenal players legs and put him out for a while...
