I have no idea, to be honest. McKenna has managed to get everyone in and around the squad singing in harmony but with Hirst and Broadhead it's going to be interesting. We also have Gassan Ahadme who cannot get in our squad; though he hasn't been given much chance. I think he will be loaned out though.
Ahadme can only go abroad or into non-league. Having played for Burton and Ipswich he's been registered for two EFL teams already this season.

Ah, didn't know that cheers. Can't see him getting any game time now then through the end of the season which seems pretty tough on him considering his all but non-existent chances.

Our pursuit of Morgan Whitaker continues, can only imagine Plymouth fans reaction to this if it went through.

We're only looking to add one more to the squad with the injured Ball and Camara likely to be unregistered.

Tyreik Wright has signed for another undisclosed fee from Aston Villa. Our 4th permanent signing of the window and it seems like we are preparing for the future considering the ages of the players signed have been 21, 20, 22 and 21.

Easily over 1m combined spend on these players by my reckoning though so the board are definitely backing the manager in search of promotion it seems. This could quite possibly be the biggest outlay in the one window in the clubs history

Good signing the lad will give you 100% in every game, and more exciting for us at Chester is that we have a few sell on‘s from his transfer to Stoke.
We won't have paid much for him - like I posted earlier, our record signing is £50k from nearly 20 years ago and if we'd broken it then it would have been mentioned.

If Ipswich did miss out then nobody can say it was because McKenna wasn’t backed. That transfer fee alone is probably not far off half of our overall playing budget. Suppose at his age there’s a good chance of making a good profit down the line.

Net spend per the transfer sites is 3.5m

Their increased income will cover that

Callum Paterson sounds like he’s off to Hearts. Always seemed good to have around and tries hard but is never ever a striker.

Dele-Bashiru linked to AC Milan…

I think you are just worried about the football league trophy game personally

I guess that doesn't include the Downes sell on either which is circa £2 million depending on who you ask.

They definitely haven’t kept 21 clean sheets this season. They are down in 15th in league 2!

Not sure we have given up on him. Yesterday Schuey was asked if we are finished in our dealings and one of the things he said was “if someone was to come back available.” Read into that what you want, but many people are substituting Whittaker for “someone”. We live in interesting times :)

Had a check and it’s 12 in all comps. Which is still decent tbf. Slightly worryingly a number of their fans seem to think he’s useless looking at Twitter, although that could be wrong/harsh. For example -
Quite young again, suppose even a bit of competition will be progress, though newly formed defence in front too and Burchinall coaching it. Could be baptism of fire.

I can see him going back to you at the end of the transfer window tbh.

Morecambe have signed Dan Crowley, really good signing for them. Technically one of the best players I can remember playing for us.

Technically good but absolutely no end product.

Probably the most overrated player I've ever seen in a Cheltenham shirt.

I beg that you beat us tonight. Some of our fanbase are already envisaging a promotion and pizza cup double.

What does 'unregistered' entail? Can't play for the rest of the season? free agent if he wants? demoted to reserves etc?

Im not arsed I wont be going tonight (probably watch it online) or any other game if we do beat you.
Sounds like your manager wants to get minutes into your new guys so may be an opportunity for us to take advantage of players not knowing each other that well.
Our normally great pitch has become a bit cut up lately with all this rain so who knows what to expect, although the games between us are normally a decent watch.

Dapo not involved tonight and rumours we’ve accepted a bid from a club in Germany for him (but he’s not convinced he wants to go to Germany.) When we play him left wing he is the best player at the club but we just don’t play that way anymore with the 3/5 atb. We’ve been trying to fit him in as a 10 and a striker plus a failed experiment at wing back and whilst he’s produced moments of brilliance he just isn’t as good in those positions. I’d be gutted to see him go but I think if we are persisting with this formation we need to recruit specifically for it and stop trying to fit players in by playing them out of position. Also a decent fee would cover another 2/3 quality additions.

Forest Green fans, why the urge for another keeper? Doohan is very much a work in progress, he’s come on significantly since his loan spell last season. Saturday’s error was unusual, but it did seem to affect his game thereafter. We needed the cash, hope that it works out ok for Ross with you.
