would not be surprised if there are a few teams in for Bodvarrson. Over his injuries now and is a perfect foil for any Decent striker. Is as good as any in this league for holding the ball up and bringing others into play.
Not a prolific goalscorer by any means but anyone who has played 60 odd games for his country will be decent
We are waiting until the summer to invest in one very good striker to try and resolve the issues we've had... but Uche is likely out for the season so we have to act but our DOF doesn't seem to think we are in a perilous position.

Fee and personal terms now agreed with Callum Lang. Just waiting the final announcement.

Us and Blackpool are fighting over Owen Moxon. Contract expires in the summer and he doesn't want to sign a new one.

Tom McIntyre from Reading has gone a bit quiet but we definitely need a centre-back.

Lang announced. Good signing if he can be trusted and played in his proper position. Not sure what has happened to him this season

McIntyre came on against us on Saturday for the last 5mins, make of that what you will.

I assume the relationship Harris has with Bodvarsson and guaranteed minutes should see us as the favourites.

I should image we will be offering his a decent contract too - most likely 18 months.

Wigan fans seem to agree. His best place is wide right and he has not played there all season

looks like we have beaten both Leeds and Southampton to Liverpool Right back Calvin Ramsey
Was at Preston but only played 3 games not sure if he was injured or did not fancy him
Cost Liverpool 5m from Aberdeen and is a full Scottish International so will do for me

If only there was a Preston fan on here who could give us a balanced opinion of his qualities?

Even if we get Collins I’d assume we’d need to get someone else in as well to let Bodvarsson go. I really would be surprised. The ball sticks to him so well. I think he’s a fantastic player for this level. Injuries have killed him being a key starter for us over the last 18 months but I wouldn’t be letting him go before the summer.

And goal record masks that. He’s always the one running off the ball or assisting the assister. He scored a really good goal against Carlisle that was ruled out incorrectly for offside too. Think he would be an asset to most at this level

Very injury prone, barely played in two years, and when he was fit, Lowe didn't put him in the matchday squad. Guessing he just didn't rate him.

Probably needs a loan spell at a lower level, looked a bit lost in his brief appearances. Potts is ever-present and Ramsay was never really going to displace him. I'd have been amazed if Leeds or Southampton moved for him.

Seems more of a traditional full back than a wingback.

Someone who looks like a genuine journo, rather than a 15 year old boy has Tweeted we’re going to sign Mo Eisa on loan from MK, with the medical scheduled for tomorrow morning.

He’d be ideal for us but won’t believe it till I see it.

No brainer taking Ramsay on loan, a luxury worth having at our disposal 100%. Could go the way of Bradley or could go the way of Beck but with only having Cogley there's way too much demand on him. From the bits I've seen Ramsay has a ridiculous cross on him which is something we don't really possess from out wide, makes way for Matheson to get a loan down in L2.

James Gibbons on loan to Cambridge United rest of season. This is the story at our end.

I’d take Gibbo back, crying out for a wing back and looked a goer in August but his injuries would be the worry for us as we’ve got our best one out already for months.

He looks a L2 player tbh, several managers here all not rated him enough to start regularly

Gibbons will be back up to Liam Bennett which is what we needed as Bennett is the only recognised right back at the club.

I know, its about the 700th striker we've 'signed' in this window

A couple of outs for us:

Tjay DeBarr - CF - went back home to Gibraltar
Killian Phillips - (we played him as a CM) - loan ended - undoubtedly a good player (was a former Shrews player of the season) but we never got the best out of him

Our ex-striker Ali Al Hamadi has just gone to Ipswich for £1m plus (from AFCW) - and we apparently have at least a 25% sell-on.

I would say we need a new LB as loanee Harry Boyes fucked off to Fleetwood…and we could do with an evil bastard midfield spoiler.

But the only rumour I’ve heard is linked with is Burton’s notably unprolific and unloved frontman Beryly Lubala. I mean, yeah sure we love signing non-scoring strikers, but I don’t think it’s what we need right now.

Lubala is not bad actually. Underused by us. So hard to say how prolific he could be. He could do a job for you.

Apparently agreed a fee of 75k with the finance people at Reading for Tom Mcintyre . Sad the manager and directors have no say, but we've been there and nobody had sympathy for us with dodgy owners x3.

Turned loan bids down for both Bodvarrson and Jerome from lge1 teams.......Nothing wrong with that both out of contract in May and doubt will get renewed.
Dont see Evatt stopping them if anyone offered them a improved contract

Really hope we are taking note, all our relegation rivals are looking to strengthen, Exeter, Cambridge, Burton etc and we are standing still because we think despite last season's lessons that we will have enough. Ridiculous, if we go down Flitcroft has to go.

All silent as San Sixfields. With no realistic chance of making the playoffs and it being highly unlikely we are going down seems we are staying as we are despite our injury woes.

We now need two more strikers, Goodwin sold and now Street maybe long term injured and its been pretty much radio silence at HQ.

Lubala now a done deal.

I'm mystified why he'd want to come to us though to be fair, according to the Burton forum they offered a 70% pay rise and he still turned it down...and apparently he grew up in Leicester so it's not like he's got ties darn Sarf or anything (in which case the move might make sense).
