Can Crewe increase the away ticket allocation of 1650 once it sells out? Not sure if that includes the little stand behind the goal.

1650 is just the side stand, max allocation just over 2200 I think.

I can see that happening to be honest especially if we win against Exeter on Saturday. We will almost certainly need more than 1650. We took 1400 to Morecambe and thats twice the distance and Crewe is must easier to get to than Morecambe was during a rail strike

Not that it matters but not sure if it includes quite a few who turned up late due to a bad accident. I know some turned round home aswell.

Crewe are selling tickets for the other three stands so there’s no extra seats to give us. Bizarre that they gave Port Vale 2k+ but not us, stinks of Cheshire Police.

If you sell them sharp, I’m sure we would move them into the main stand.

We are selling them in tiers depending on fans having supporter club card points, season tickets etc. This is going on until Monday 12th when any remaining go on general sale. I would expect them to sell out that day or near enough as we have well over 3500 season ticket holders who will undoubtedly buy the bulk of the allocation. Our away games are very popular this season with it being our first one back following our exile to the VNL as they are like going to a party at times and this is the nearest to a Derby game we have this season.

To be honest I also find Crewe`s decision to only give us one stand slightly baffling. As Tranmere White says this does look like a Cheshire Police decision. We have had this sort of thing before, usually at Chester, as this force seems to have a problem with our fans for some reason know only to them. It`s not like we have a hooligan problem. OK I admit our fans can be very boisterous at times in their support away from home but thats about it. I certainly haven`t seen any behavour on the road that warrants the sort of restrictive ticketing and mass police operations we have seen time after time when we play in, what is after all historically, our own county.

I’d say around 900 Shakers at Macc today. Attendance given as 2,485.

EDIT: just seen apparently 932.
