Sorry, this has probably been mentioned earlier, but is that the maximum Harrogate allocation? If so that's pathetic.

Aye, that’s all they would allocate us.

Although, once the second goal went in, lots of ‘home’ fans headed for the exits - strange.

Bradford fans what’s the deal with away fans?

2 years ago we had the side down the side but you wouldn’t budge on the 1200 tickets though they sold out in double quick time.

they’d be substantially more interest than 1200, do you allow for more space?
You'll get the end two blocks of Midland Road which is the 1200 and in theory should get the TL Dallas behind the goal if there's enough demand for it to be worth opening. That stand holds about another 1500ish. So I'd say if you were confident of selling about 1700-2000 you should get both stands.

We don't open it anymore due to not being allowed to serve alcohol in there because the kiosk has a view of the pitch or something.

officially 629 Tranmere fans at Barrow, but probably 640-670 in reality as several bought tickets in the main stand and there are a lot of scousers living in the area and working at the shipyard.
I noted on Quest that there were a few celebrating at the opposite end of the ground when Hawkes scored.

I thought the away allocation at Walsall was 2000? Apparently we only have 60 tickets left

The initial allocation was 1,014, of which 60 were left this evening.

They did the same for us, we sold the initial and then another 250 were added. They pretty much went and then the rest were available POTD. Think we ended up with 1500-1700 or so. The spillover in the side stand was cordoned off too so plenty of space.

Yes, you'll have space for about 2100. The capacity behind the goal is about 1500 now as a few rows at the front were taken out to put barriers in.

There were probably about 1200 Northampton yesterday. I don't know why we've suddenly stopped announcing the attendances on Twitter, probably the same reason we've stopped trying to win matches (they can't be bothered).

I think that was the same for the visit of Rovers. They had double the amount of fans and there wasn't any issues. (that I know about)
How many will you bring to Tranmere for a cold wet night on the Leisure Peninsula. Last tuesday the rain somehow managed to go in at least 4 directions at once and soaked everybody.

Not a clue mate, you are asking the wrong person! Could be anything between 200-500 I guess?

We’re able to allocate the Bradford End (stand behind the goal) on the proviso that you’re able to sell all the seats (around 1,500ish). Total away capacity is generally c2,700 (although this can be increased to 3,100 if demand is there).

If we’re only allocating you the two blocks in Midland Road (1,200) then it’s because Mansfield are not confident in shifting 2,700 tickets.

It was the same with Oldham on the opening day. Oldham wouldn’t purchase the remaining 1,500 seat for the stand behind the goal. It’s pointless for our club to allocate a 1,500 stand, opening it all up again, remove our fancy seats coverings, fork out for additional stewards/police only for some clubs to shift another few hundred tickets.

It’s a logistical nightmare to police at that end of the ground as it is.

Tickets gone on sale for Tranmere today. Not sure what allocation we have but not a bad price at £19 in fairness to them (compared to many other clubs in any case). Reckon it should be a decent enough following from us anyway.

Cheaper for concessions usually.

Why not? Keep your head down and you’ll be fine at any ground IMO
He actually stated " Or are we all going in the home end " which in my mind refers to more like a group going in. I've been in home ends in the past ( mainly 1970's ) but most of the time it does'nt end that well.

That’s oddly specific. Then again, we have reduced the away end these days to be the terrace and a small amount of seating (after fans complained there isn’t enough seating).

Probably based on this, I guess not? Away terrace is around 1k + the small seating section

Apparently it was 850 terrace and 279 seated, which I did think was quite low, terrace wise.

It’s probably not too far off - but we used to give 1k I think. Seating was 800 + terrace and an allocation of 1800.

There is the opportunity to extend the terracing though but that means moving the home fans, which shouldn’t really be a problem IMO.

Swindon fans, how many were you allocated in the end?

It really is an awful experience for an away supporter. £18 to stand on a cramped open terrace in the rain with restricted views of the pitch. One entry and exit point for 1200+ supporters, 40-minute queue for refreshments. On the pitch FGR by far and away the best side we’ve played and certainties for promotion.
Its probably nowhere as bad as our experience at Barrow last Saturday. 629 fans jammed into a corner, including 100 of so in a hastily erected seated section spliting the terrace into two. I was under cover on the away terrace and literally could only see the top corner of the goal at that end and and only 20 yards of the left hand touch line. I doubt that I could see more than 80% of the pitch. The sightlines are truly shocking. The only way to see both goals was to stand out in a gale force wind and pouring rain. There were even no lights in the toilets at half time. The pictures I saw of it prior to going looked bad enough but it was even worse than I thought it was going to be. Sorry Barrow fans but that away section is not fit for purpose. I was talking to one of our fans who works for Health and Safety on the Wirral and he said it possibly wouldn`t get a certificate here certainly not for 600 plus fans.

They turned the toilet lights off at half time. Need to save the pennies to afford Ollie Banks wage.

Aye that away section is shite, can't deny it. Even in some of the home areas you're craning your neck to try and see what's happening in the corners. That plastic sheeting bit they've had to put up above the segregation barriers was forced upon us by the police I believe, after a section of away fans earlier on in the season decided to lob stuff over the barrier at the (annoying) bunch of teenagers that stand next to the barriers.
