Yeah you can probably give us at Bromley as 490 as that’s what we had and sold it out immediately. To be fair they have a go at doing what they can for away fans and if they stick around for a couple of years I imagine they’ll build something a lot better.

Seems a strange one Ainsty for sure, I suppose it’s hard to get a total accurate number sometimes and it’s only a discrepancy of 55 or so, but it’s interesting.
I have read in a few places the away crowd was 1,081, but i agree it’s most reliable to use the official Harrogate one given there, although it did seem extremely crowded in the away standing area to the point people were stood in the isles.
I concur, I’ve no idea how you could fit more in, I was stood in a gangway so no idea how given we had sold out we didn’t have the max

The northern Dons (Rovers) are taking full advantage of our ‘family fun day’ prices (£12) and have sold out their initial allocation of 850 or so. Looks like they will bring 1,000-1,500.

Sold approx 1000 for Notts on Saturday by the look of the online ticketing hub - only 50 or so available seats left from the 1050 allocated. Still a few days of sales before the weekend so hopefully we'll get another allocation, 1500 would be a very good travelling contingent.

Been allocated 1300 for our away game at Vale at the end of November. Atleast it's more than the 1000 we got last season. To be fair with it being a Monday night live on sky, I doubt we will sell many more anyway.

You can have up to 3100 plus in that stand, the last season issue wasn't it down to being the same night Stoke where at home IIRC so limited by availability of stewards etc?

Bit early to be selling them mind, we don't usually get away tickets given to us until less than a fortnight before!

Tranmere allocated us 1,700. Is this the total amount they offer, I can’t remember?

Looking forward to it. It’s usually played on a Tues night, and we typically take a 1,000 midweek.

Should come close to selling out.

I thought that, tickets going on sale for an away game that's over 2 months away seems very strange.

Hilarious reaction from Notts fans on Twitter to this as expected
I understand a bit of frustration because I imagine they'll all get snaffled up by ST holders without going on general sale so lots will miss out. But it's something we've been doing for a while now, nothing new, it's just a consequence of getting bigger home crowds in a 10k ground. You don't want home fans missing out just to accommodate more away fans, no team in the land would do that. But yeah the headloss is pretty funny.

The meltdown is indeed amusing given that it's widely known that this is the max allocation at Chesterfield. However, these reduced allocations are really annoying. I'd be fully in favour of upping the 10% to somewhere in the 15% to 20% bracket. 1000ish allocations for local matches mean that non-ST holders need to tap up their mates to be in with a chance.

I think it’s because we’ve not played you since you cut it tbh so everyone is used to whatever we used to get. Personally got no problem with it while you’re selling out the home ends, I’ll be wanting us to do the same for the reverse game and only give you 10% if we’re still doing well and can sell them to home fans.

Thanks DearneValleyRover, we was definitely given an allocation of 1,081 and those tickets sold out on the Tuesday, whether 50 people didn’t turn up or we announced our allocation wrong on our official site, I'm not sure. One thing for certain is it was sold out. Let’s see if Bradford get 1,058 or that number falls abit when/if announced. Have you any idea how many we have sold for MK this weekend?. I asked the ticket lady when purchasing and she said they’ve not sold as well as Grimsby, which was to be expected. I think we took 400 last year?… so 1-1.5k sounds a stretch maybe?.

How many home fans are you expecting?. 10k + crowd perhaps?. Hoping we bring a 1000+ would be happy with that.

I know we sold out the initial allocation of 800+, there are only 19 tickets left plus 6 in the Wheelchair area but I’ve no idea how many extra were sent

Based on how pants we have been, nowhere near. I would say 7,000 - 8,000 at best and I'd be surprised even with that. These days used to add 2,000-3,000 to the gate when in L1 and doing well, now no chance.

Notts paying off Bromley to fabricate false away followings and bump up the average is a potential bombshell.
