I dont think I have ever seen a lower league team with as much strike power on a bench as Bury today

Worst performance of the season by far, absolutely dreadful from start to finish. Set the tone in the first five minutes when we couldn't make a five yard pass and the centre half goes off injured. Horrific showing.

Sure they did, and our lot did their best to help them come down from two goals down. I wasn't there today (the last time I was there I witnessed a 6-2 defeat, back in the connie years ) but a mate of mine was and he's livid right now. In short, we gave away a wholly unnecessary pen just before HT, and then they scored 3 times more in something like a 15 min spell - so that means our lot let in 4 goals in under 20 mins.

I blame that idiot for giving away a penno only seconds before the ht whistle. It could've been different if we had gone in two goals to the good at the break.

But I've got to stay positive! Lil' ol' FGR at the Abbey coming right up so we've got a good chance of improving the goals scored column

Honestly, you should beat us and quite comfortably too. I'm not saying this after today's 4-2 reverse at Newport but over the games I've watched this season. We're a shambles across the park right now, esp. the back four and goalie, so it all depends on whether you lot take your chances or not.

I still think we've got a decent enough starting eleven, but the players' confidence has been shot to pieces. When heads drop as soon as they concede a goal that's always a confidence issue imo.

It's taking chances we seem to be shy of, hence all the draws. Tightened up at the back but still a bit averse to getting the ball in there and with Doidge gone not quite so effective from set pieces. Think we'll work it out though as we certainly have a few who can chip in.

Bury were tidy to be fair, pressed us really well and looked decent on the ball. Deserved winners, but we really made hard work for ourselves today.

MK Winless in a few games and have never won a league tie at Vale Park, Vale playing the best they have in two years. Confidence sky high, What could possibly go wrong?

Just worry Saturday will have taken too much of a toll. Had this been Saturday after a week since the Exeter game I’d be more confident (crazily ten games in 34 days now) but we had to put a lot in and it was a real physical battle.

Tempted to go Kanu for Miller you know. Worth seeing if that could work better.

Be a tough one tonight, although they are not winning they are not losing either!

We're playing some irrelevant tinpot no marks called Newport tonight. Danny Whitaker is missing through injury which is worrying but hopefully Saturday's positive performance will inspire the team to dig in and get a result from this one.

I think the 8-0 at West Ham (and the subsequent tactical reshuffle from Yates) has given the players the rocket they needed. They've been brilliant ever since to be fair to them.

Really poor tonight, we look absolutely knackered which is worrying. Two really shit goals to give away too, the first identical to Saturdays that we conceded and then let their guy get off his arse to score.

Felt this would be a game too far and it’s looking that way, oddly we started like a train and could of had two or three in ten minutes.

Big big blow Manny going off, he’s critical to us and if out for any period of time it could be disasterous.

Really below par tonight and very jaded, one of those nights where nothing went for us with Manny injured and then having to play with ten men most of the second half killing any hope of a fight back.

Can’t knock them too much after recent weeks, huge game at Grimsby for us now and hopefully get back to how we’ve been playing.
