Notice that the Northampton/Sixfields development court date is today.

Old owners ordered to pay the council back a sum of getting on for £3m. Robbing fucking c***. Criminal trial next.

Any reason for Northampton vs Morecambe being a 2pm KO on Saturday?

Agreement with Northampton Saints, we move games and they move games, helps with traffic as both grounds are relatively close

Notice that the Northampton/Sixfields development court date is today.

Following today's civil action case, Northampton Borough Council have only retrieved what they were owed from who they could reasonably expect to do so (approx £3m of the estimated £10m+).
The criminal aspect, if any, has a fair way to run before we see that completed.

Just read the tweets from the reporter covering it, seems our chief exec James Whiting acted as the whistleblower so well bloody done Jim.

Do them playing on the same day affect your crowds? They get decent numbers.

Massive game at Whaddon Road tomorrow in a real 6 pointer. A win for Macc and we come out of drop zone 4 and leap frog our hosts. A loss and all of a sudden we're adrift again and have a tough couple of weeks to come.

Sound Cheltenham have actually been playing ok despite losing a few so expect them to remain confident, but Sol has our lot full of beans too so could be a really good game.

I'm going 0-0.

It should be a decent game. Our biggest issue is the fact we no longer have an enforcer in the middle of the pitch. We're also not taking our chances.

I wouldn't believe all you read from Michael Duff - his reflection on the previous couple of performances have not mirrored what I've seen and heard from fans. We're huffing and puffing a bit, but that being said, we're not being hammered and if do go a goal up I'm confident we'll see it through.

This game is the first of three massive home games for us with Cambridge and Yeovil to follow. We simply have to get off to a good start.

Colchester at home tomorrow. 2nd of the three games on the trot against promotion. Fancy us to beat anyone and everyone at home the way we are this season. They're in indifferent form too.

It's all set up for a comfortable Colchester win though. We're high as kites and play-offs are being mentioned by a couple of people (hahaha). Usually comes together for a terrible performance.

Also riding our luck with injuries and the squad at the moment. James Sicknote Jones out for the forseeable with ligament damage but Paul Sicknote Messiah Green is returning just in time. Very thin at the back too. Sending a hell of a lot out on loan with no sign of anyone coming in yet. Hopefully it's a matter of waiting for quality.

Im very worried about tommorow, injuries are starting to pile up abit with no sign of anyone coming in. But most of all, our fans are starting to get abit excited, and there is abit of expectancy for us to win, especially at home. Our home record is very very good, but you feel in typical Crewe fashion it's all going to go wrong sooner or later.

EH?

Grimsby have lost 4 in a row not long after winning 4 in a row? Hey I like you lot, but come on that is just so L2 of you!

Oh we're due a slump for sure, but then we did finish last season in promotion form, think our final 16-17 games was top 7 level stuff. We are capable of going on a decent extended run, but as already mentioned, we're wafer thin in almost every department.

Plus, Artell seems to be drawing blanks in terms of finding players because clubs want their lads to play and the form our current group are in, he can't guarantee playing time. I get why they pulled the trigger on the loanees and Walker/Raynes, but Artell could be left red faced if he comes up short by the end of the window.

I doubt we get through these back to back home games without losing at least one tbh. Given how good our home record is, I'd probably take a point tomorrow now if offered. Colchester seem like a classic League Two side, can wallop anyone on their day, but they are inconsistent. Just more consistent than most, hence why they are in the top 7.

Your manager is a bit of a knob.

Gonna have to narrow this down as to why. He’s upset everyone at some point this season, Crewe fans included.

When we beat you in the cup he was saying you were the better team by far and that we were crap when we had loads of chances and he just tries to look intelligent by wearing glasses and smart clothes when he sounds like a moron.

Quietly confident about tomorrow (for the first time this season) but just avoiding defeat would probably be ok. Obviously Flinders will be in unplayable form again for Cheltenham despite having been so shite during his spell here.

Oh. Thought he’d done something serious. Yeah he kinda just talks like your average fan would, no real thought or brains behind it, just a stream of nonsense. He should be more concerned with his behaviour on the touch line and obvious terrible reputation with refs, who are sick of him.

Not sure he wears the glasses just to look intelligent either. They’re like triple glazing. Not sure anyone would wear them out of choice.

Have to say he has been fantastic for us. Honestly don't see how he earned the nickname Flapper - he's been a rock, and some of his point blank, instinctive saves have been World Class.

Looks like two evenly matched sides, form wise. Not much to choose between us. Stevenage having got themselves almost back in the play-off race need this one to confirm it to themselves they are the real deal. That situation can be quite difficult to overcome, it’s a real test of character. So on that basis I hang some extra hope we can pull off another result to keep our own fires burning. We have not been winning quite enough games again to give any real confidence we can remain in a play-off spot.

I see we are strong favourites with the bookies to win this, not sure where they get their sudden belief in us! We will see.

I’m not even going to mention Doidge!

...and Crawley will lose at Swindon today. Our manager will bemoan the missed opportunities and the silly mistakes. He will also say we were the best team and other such drivel.

Pattern of play, cutting edge and solid defensive work are just three of the things this team is missing.

He seems to have gotten into a bad habit of constantly starting post match interviews with either "we were the better side by miles". It's not good. It either smacks of poor sportsmanship if we've won or a bit ridiculous if we've not.

As Timey says, when you are rivalling Steve Evans in the manager yellow card stakes, it's embarrassing.

But criticising him for wearing glasses, which he clearly needs to, you know.....see, and for dressing smart is ridiculous.

Another red for dirty Grimsby. We've been the better side and deserve to be 1 up but we've potentially thrown away a result here. Agard turned Davis and he's dragged him to the deck, not convinced he was last man but it was a borderline rugby tackle. Could've been a yellow but not many complaining.
