I'm genuinely gutted for the bloke. He was like a kid at Christmas coming back to Cheltenham, turned down higher offers to come back. For some reason, he absolutely loves the place. He's been made club captain, and he'll be back next year.

It's hard to feel sympathy for him because he's a genuinely dislikeable prick. A walking yellow card and an all round nasty operator. Obviously you don't want to see such a bad injury inflicted, but at the same time, I don't think he's getting many get well soon cards in the post.

He's the epitome of hate him when he's not on your team, love him when he is (apart from Grimsby fans of course).

Off the pitch, he's an absolutely brilliant bloke. Very much one of those who's excellent with the kids on a matchday and at community events.

We are aware of an extremely offensive post on X made by a Grimsby Town supporter yesterday.

Fair play to Grimsby for this. I've seen the tweets that this little rat put out and I hope he doesn't get to set foot in a football stadium for a long time. It makes you wonder how his mind works as surely Grimsby have black players?

He even had the nerve to retweet the statement. But he's now deleted his twitter. Thom Johansson was his Twitter name. Sadly all clubs have these horrible urchins so this isn't a slight on Grimsby particularly, they should be praised for taking action.
