Our last 5 games are Luton A, Carlisle H, Morecambe A, Northampton H and Cambridge Utd A.
I see you still have to play Morecambe and Northampton but the opposite way round.
Pretty sure JFH will be gunning for the title which would be brilliant but promotion will keep me happy, that will be a magnificent achievement for our club for the 1st time in our history.
Enjoy the rest of the season, apart from bank holiday Monday of course !

Cheers mate. I'm not too concerned about the title but for us to get promoted after our near exit from The Football League on the last day of last season would be an incredible turnaround so i'd take 3rd quite happily to be honest.

I think we are quite keen on the title but it is Burtons to lose in their remaining 8 games. I think Wycombe will also keep on the pressure and expect them to take at least a point in the fixture v Burton.

I'd be well happy with a point to be honest. don't care about Southend but bury need to keep their run going to try and catch us but if we keep winning so the pressure is on them not us. I just can't see any change from the current top 3.

I certainly don't mean to talk like we've got promotion in the bag as we totally haven't.

But it would be interesting to see what happens next season. We haven't got a pot to piss in and I doubt could strengthen anywhere near enough, canny loans or not.

$hrew$bury are probably best placed to do ok in L1, and I think Bury have some ropey Notts County-style sugar daddy which will see them right till the buckets come out again.

Burton I think are a bit boring and sensible, great in the long term but maybe not so much in terms of sustaining the dizzy heights of the third tier.

Interesting comments lads, Albion are obviously in pole position, a win tomorrow night will keep the pressure on but its going to be a good battle. Bury are obviously under extra pressure now having lost yesterdays fixture to the weather.
The title would be a bonus in my eyes but I definitely think JFH will want that on his CV. Promotion will do me, having been a supporter for 47 seasons I never dreamt we would reach these heights but I really think we will be ok in league 1 if we get there. The club will adjust and adapt just like it has whenever we have gone up a grade.
All 3 of our clubs have been up there for most of the season and I hope get promotion and I hope we will all be talking about our fixtures on the league 1 forum next season.

Can't wait for Burton as the last away game. If we are still in the hunt we wil, take more than usual and be louder than usual, love Burton. I remember Wycombe on Good Friday last year, 2330 Cobblers fans, how times have changed eh Mowgs!

I'm 57 and followed Albion since we were in the Southern league in the 1969/70 season, we only won 3 league games in my 1st season but did reach the Q/Finals of the 1st FA Trophy that year. I can remember some great games against yourselves way back in the FA Trophy and FA Cup !

I'm hoping you are still in with a shout by then too, will provide a great atmosphere. Actually hoping we will have secured promotion prior to this fixture and will be chasing the title but a lot of water to flow under the bridge before this game.

Let us win but you also secure the title when Wycombe lose on the same day. Then we will clap your title presentation and be happy for you, and we will join you in League 1.

It's a tough few games coming up for Burton. I'd go with Shrews to win the title Burton second Wycombe third. Bury for the play-offs if they can continue their run of form (tough ask being so far away) The rest in the play-offs I don't know all inconsistent anyone could win if they can play well for 3 games. Wembley for us maybe.. but if we got there we would bottle it like against all the better sides we have led against then lost or drew this year.

I think if Bury don't manage to avenge the 5-0 drubbing earlier this season by Shrewsbury, even on current form, that's that as far as the top three goes. Lucky number seven the play-offs?

What's the highest number of points a L2 play off team has ended up with?

IF we carry on our current form (easyish run in) then we could have 82 or 85 points and still only make the play offs.

Certainly have mate and that's why we all love football as shit teams suddenly become good when nobody expects them to. First day of the season i thought mid-table obscurity at best for us with Northampton my favourites for the title. :gmc: I'm hoping we'll be promoted before the last game of the season at your place as it could be one of the hardest away games this season.

Easter is huge. Burton could potentially go 9 points clear at the top or be 3 points behind Shrewsbury and Wycombe with Bury hot on everyone's heels. Can't wait for both games.

How many points did we end up on in 2009 when we missed out on automatic promotion by a single fucking goal.

Whether it's Bury or Wycombe doesn't really make a difference to Crewe, you wont bring 300 to either anyway.
Over the last few years I'm pretty sure we've probably taken more to Wycombe than Bury. No idea why but we never travel to Bury.

A very Good Friday for Town.

A win at Mansfield on Easter Monday followed by avoiding defeat at Bury eight days later should just about secure an automatic spot.

Probably a bit disappointed we didn't hang on for the win at Argyle but would have settled for a point prior to kick off.
Wycombe 4 points behind us makes Bank holiday Monday's game very interesting with Bury being only 4 points behind them with a game in hand. The pressure is building up at the top .
Would be nice if Stags could take something from the visiting Shrews !

Like i said before mate we're shit at Adams Park for some reason but have the best away record in The Football League so don't be surprised if we get a point on monday and i'll be more than happy with that.

We have beaten Shrewsbury, Bury and Southend at home but definitely reckon this game will be our toughest. Think we would be happier than yourselves with a draw but so would Shrewsbury and Bury. It wouldn't be a disaster but I think we both need the win.
The game on 14th April at Gigg lane against Shrewsbury will be interesting if Bury maintain their current form up until then.
