Sam Habergham on trial with us apparently.

Was excellent with Braintree and think Lincoln fans rated him but has had some bad injuries.

Only one bad injury, which is the one that's kept him out since April 2018. The injury is the cartilage in his knee has basically worn away so it's bone on bone - a wear and tear one rather than a 'proper' one. He's had two operations on it, both keeping him out for 9 months at a time I think.

Paid the price for playing an average of about 50 competitive games a season for 6 years in a row, never getting injured.

Was incredible for us. Such a solid, consistent, dependable full back.

Most people will mention this goal on Good Friday against Torquay in 2016/17 when talking about Sam. 1-0 down with 4 minutes to go and Sam nets the winner.

You've got to ask yourself why he only played 9 games then ? His first game for us he was outstanding -- But that was it. I think it was Shrewsbury away he was taken off after 20 mins , dispatched from the club next day with Darrel Clark stating he had no time for players who did'nt try. I'll leave it up to you.

If you had to pick one, Boateng or Ollie Clarke? Purely on ability, and not who you might dislike more than the other!

Hurst will have seen him at braintree before that as well. A team we just couldn’t score against!

Was at LB when we beat Hurst's Shrewsbury in the EFL Trophy as well. He was outstanding that day considering it was one of his final games for us.

I'm assuming he isn't allowed at our training ground anymore because of Covid but we allowed him to keep coming in to us and using our gym, physio's etc after his contract expired in 2019.

Olly Clarke all day long. Probably not as skillfull but gave everything for the shirt. Has a great shot on him as well.

Good, he's been absolutely useless.

Fast as fuck but so was Usain Bolt and he was pony with a ball at his feet.
Well that sounds great. Although we're desperate for some pace so he might do a job.

Looks like we're not signing anyone nor is anyone being shipped out - no signings either way, no rumours. Also, we're not playing matches (2 Covid postponements) so we're not gaining any points but none of those around us seem to want to dislodge us from the playoffs so we're not losing ground.

Nothing to see here then, move along.

Well that sounds great. Although we're desperate for some pace so he might do a job.

To be fair he scored on his debut and showed flashes of decent things, but as he came from Leeds with a fanfare from Wellens he was generally disappointing. Can run fast but generally his finishing/crossing was well below par. I suspect he probably was never going to be able to make a dent into a Sheridan side, but perhaps he can be utilised better by someone that plays differently.

No idea what style of football Bradford play but perhaps he will shine in League 2. And to be fair the rest of our team have been utterly shite so it's probably harsh to really judge him, I'm sure Messi would be dragged down to our level if you put him in a red shirt.

I'll pop in now and then to see how he's doing.

We still looking at Cedwyn Scott by the way?

Beech said he’s going to look at him this month when he returns to train with us.

Id imagine we’re keen now that we’ve let Reilly go

Offrande Zanzala recently of Crewe the latest player to be linked with a move to Carlisle.

Think there could be something in that one. He’s the right age for what Beech usually targets, we’ve just let go of Reilly so a striker coming in would seem likely.

No idea if he’s actually any good, but I trust our manager’s judgement.

We've signed George Taft on loan from Bolton.

I know he's shite but he's probably gonna have to start due to injuries, so frustrating.

I'm sure we're waiting on seeing if Bradford release anyone too

Far from it, decent player, maybe a bit rusty to begin with but give him a good run and he’ll be a good signing.

Echo what Arbury says. Once fit he is a typical league two defender. Wins a lot in the air and try's to play out from the back. Will be fine once fit. Don't listen to Masi.

Please take Kurtis Guthrie, Ben Richards-Everton and Dylan Mottley-Henry off our hands. I am sure you can get a tune out of some of our flops like you are doing with Patrick, Devine and Riley?

BRE I thought was a decent signing on paper, I think part of that is because he came through our youth system and was released, we always get reminded of it if he has a good game against us.

Patrick has been really good and so was Devine until he got injured, Riley has been ok.

I'd say your previous manager just failed to get the best out of them.

I’ve sent Carver out as my man on the ground and he has spotted what we believe to be Offrande Zanzala’s car parked outside Brunton Park. We’ll bring you more news as we get it.

We usually spot all our new signings in Sainsbury getting a loaf of bread and £20 of Diesel.
