We usually spot all our new signings in Sainsbury getting a loaf of bread and £20 of Diesel.
Ours are usually spotted at Steels with John Fenty so I'm not sure where they'll be now.

I'm sure once the pandemic is over it'll be back to Faro Airport

I remember Derek Asamoah driving round Carlisle in his white Maserati getting the rumours going.

No more Faro Airport I don’t think, unless David Sharpe starts living in Portugal aswell.

I have this weird false memory that Asamoah was sensational for Mansfield, I remember his signing being a bit of a coup and him playing so well against Northampton he got a standing ovation from every stand. Google suggests he scored 5 in 30 before Carlton Palmer fell out with him

When we signed him (he was already 35 by that point) it seemed as though fans of all his former clubs held him in high esteem... perhaps he's just one of those players, his reputation preceeds him and he has a knack for the memorable, such as the equaliser he scored for us at Anfield where he left Liverpool's defence for dead.

We've signed left sided CB Baily Cargill from MK Dons. Seems decent and looks like a direct replacement for Liam Kitching.

Foggy as usual at our place lol.

We're also being linked with a loan move for Accrington striker Lewis Mansell.

Has only played 1 league game for them this season, but has scored 1 in 2 in the EFL Trophy and did pretty well at Partick Thistle last season.

We've signed keeper Will Huffer on a deal until the end of the season from Bradford Park Avenue. Come in as backup initially but will drop down to third choice when O'Donnell is back fit.

Harry Kewell still out there somewhere presumably, looking for the rest of his squad.

Echo what Arbury says. Once fit he is a typical league two defender. Wins a lot in the air and try's to play out from the back. Will be fine once fit. Don't listen to Masi.
why where have i said anything about Taft ???
For what its worth i think he has had a raw deal, never looked good when he played the first couple of games, but none of our centre backs did.
Seems he was froze out when others had chance after chance.
Good luck to him for the rest of the season

George Taft, not bad if you can keep him fit. The big question is will he be fit for enough games.

We've released Josh Wright.

Not a huge suprise as he's not been a preferred choice this season and Embleton has been selecting youngster Hector Kyprianou who looks a good prospect over him for a space on the bench as well for the last 6 weeks.

Still got that nack of scoring goals with late runs into the box and scoring penalties, but he isn't very dynamic and drifts out of games quickly.

Could do a job for any club in this league, wouldn't be suprised if he ended up at Stevenage, but they already have a few 30+ central midfielders.

Kurtis Guthrie and krystain Pearce linked with vale. From what I know Guthrie did well at stevenage but not done much at Bradford. Pearce is a decent defender but his best years are probably behind him so may not be much better than what we already have in legge and Brisley.

I'll drive Guthrie there myself, absolutely dogshit. Rumours from a credible source?

Wouldn’t be surprised if he joined his brother

Its from twitter on unofficial vale he sometimes gets them right sometimes gets them wrong. Guthrie may have been shite at Bradford but he tore us to pieces at vale Park when they beat us 4 1 a couple of years ago. We wanted sign him last year but he chose Bradford instead. We can't sign anyone though untill players leave so we need mckirdy and Robinson gone.

Pearce would improve you lot, I’d take him back, I don’t think he’s past his best yet.

We'll be happy to let him leave, he's not had a sniff under the new managers and rightly so. Still cannot believe that we turned down two offers for him in the summer.

Can’t believe Guthrie would be a target for anyone based on his time with us, in his twelve months here he’s been 80% out injured and 20% utterly useless, would have to live off his past to justify a move.

Will Josh Wright join his brother Mark at Crawley?

I would say yes but we have a policy of signing younger players (Tony Craig aside) so a 30+ midfielder would have to bring something different to the club. I'm not sure Josh Wright does.

There again, I'm definitely not in the know and Yems has more football nous than me so I could be wrong.

Do you need a midfielder who pings a lovely 40 yard pass before spending the rest of the game hiding from the ball, waving his arms about and avoiding heading the ball in case it disturbs his Brylcreem?

I saw Asamoah play for Pohang Steelers against FC Seoul in Korea when I lived there. My American and Korean mates I was with didn't share my enthusiasm.
He's back over here now, someone on one of our forums saw him playing for someone step 8/9 level side and coulnd't believe he was still going.

Been all over the place hasn't he?! England, Korea, Scotland, France, Russia, India(?).
