I think Zokos problem is he does take the piss, in his attitude. Was one of the many 'bad eggs' Curle brought in
He never seemed to have an attitude problem here under the clown.

He had quiet games as well, but even in the quiet games he'd often do something out of the blue to win a game. He did however benefit massively when Lee Miller played. I think he needs a certain type of player alongside him to get the best out of him.

Connor Essam was not good enough for us in the Conference.

Pearce is a decent signing for us as I think he'll be used mainly as back up to Collins & Tafazolli. Pretty happy with our defence now.

Ben Davies will sign for Mansfield IF we contact him before Tuesday. If not he's going to Portsmouth.

That is quite bizarre. If we wanted to sign him, and he wanted to sign for us, surely he wouldn't be play for Portsmouth today?

Would be a good signing though. He'd be the quality addition we're looking for in midfield.

Davies turned down an offer from county

I'd be happy if he signed, not got that experienced player in the middle.

Calling bullshit. You said the same about Westcarr which was bollocks

Chairman said we hadn't spoken to him

Exeter fans - Tom Nicholls. What's he like?

Demsey may not be the only League Two young player we snap up.

Don't think your chairman has a clue then, that or you haven't actually spoken to Mr chairman. I know for certain Westcarr was contacted and had a contract offer the day after county were relegated but stags had already a offered him better after we played Portsmouth at home.

Again, the amount of county targets that have gone elsewhere is laughable, pays when your mates with those in charge of local press.

I don't know too much about him but isn't he an attacking midfielder? I think what we really need is a good defensive midfielder. We got too many attacking minded central midfielder options, including Thomas (Jack), Clements and Chapman. This only leaves us with McGuire as a defensive midfielder and despite his commitment and effort he isn't good enough for what we need. If we have got a deadline to offer Davies a deal then I would let this pass and let Portsmouth have him.

He's good. Not incredible but the potential is there. Scored 15 in 24 starts last season and will better that this season.

What have you heard and where? I'd be surprised if we sell him to be honest.

*Btw it's just the one 'l' in Nichols.

Well if you want him you'll have to pay big. We don't need to sell and he's the best striker we've brought through in donkey's years.

He's an excellent finisher and potentially could make it higher up but a move now may not be best for him.

Cheers lads, like Demspey the way our scouting system works is our scouts calculate when the best time to sign players is before they become too alert to higher profile clubs than us and there value shoots up.

They may not be ready straight away, but buying them before they are and turning them into a player who is more than capable and selling for a profit is something we're good at - ala Rhodes, Pilkington, Novak etc

For what it's worth, I know Nichols is on this list we are watching to sign once he's hit a certain level. We missed out on Grimes to Swansea, so I don't think we'll want to miss out on Nichols.

That's interesting, sounds like a very good strategy in place. Yeah, I remember you lot being one of the first teams linked with Grimes. Just unfortunate for you that his performances were so impressive in the first half of last season that he quickly caught the eye of more prem clubs, which evidently made it harder for you to compete for his signature.

What's best for Tom is another season playing regular football and scoring more goals. He'll get that in this league with us. If he keeps doing what he's doing and continues to improve I'd suggest he'll be off at the end of the season.

I know for a fact we never offered Davies or Westcarr anything. A 100% fact. Thankyou. Please refrain from this behaviour in the future.

Mad how you're so ITK but you've not been able to provide any sort of new transfer information for your own club, surely you must know who Notts and Mansfield are after if you know those 'in charge of the local press' (whoever the fuck that is supposed to be...but obviously you don't know them anyway)

Regardless of whether the player would rather have gone to Luton or not, I can only think that LTFC weren't that serious in chasing him since there's no doubt that you could afford to pay a higher percentage of the player's wages than we could.

I thought Luton put in a bid to buy him not just have him on loan.

Nah we wanted only a permanent deal, QPR slapped ridiculous price tag on him meaning we didn't bother

Why would we want Davies? Love the guy and he was our best player by a mile last time around, but he wouldn't get on our bench now.

ah fair enough, that explains it then. I remember him being a decent player but wouldn't have thought he's worth a big transfer fee.

Davies hasn't been offered a deal by Notts.

There's about 4 other clubs who have 1 in league one, 1 in conference and a few league 2 but it's between Mansfield and Portsmouth. Location v Wages. He'll sign for either this week, probably Portsmouth.

Orient manager Ian Hendon watched our first half friendly at St Neots today. Could be interested in one of our players, most likely transfer listed Jordan Slew but that is a wild guess. Slew played well and scored.

Josh Coulson was the other transfer listed player who played in the first half.

Ex Pompey striker Tom Craddock scored 4 goals for us today in a friendly. Currently on trial. Luton, Oxford, Pompey fans?

Cheers for that, he may have been scouting some St Neots players as well!

Unlikely to be a St Neots player. You in the market for a central defender or striker?, or both?
