We've signed Harry Wood, a CM on loan from Hull.

I believe this means someone has left due our embargo numbers, no idea who yet.

Omar Bogle and Nathan Thomas is who I'd like us to sign.

As mentioned umpteen pages ago, we were linked with Bogle - but rubbished by Adams. Surely, your only chance of signing Bogle is to hope that WE actually sign him in this window.

Pre-contractual agreement for 2022 - is that a thing?

Gime Toure left out of tonight’s squad. He’s one who needs game time so I would take that as him likely departing before the deadline.

No name yet but we have agreed a 2 year deal with a current League 2 striker, subject to a medical.

Jack Muldoon?

…but I’m getting more Theo Robinson vibes. Our Twitter handle will go into fucking meltdown.

you can have theo for 200k.

bargain

Im guessing it could be Elliot List - or someone of ‘that mould’.

Sure we were rumoured to be interested in Ash Hunter at Salford, too.

Oh, fuck knows - could be anyone!

Honestly, I don’t even have the words for that signing.

There’d better be something else through the door tonight. What a depressing state of affairs.
Most of the players we're likely to sign will be free agents, although the two we signed today aren't, I'll assume that if we're in talks with any other players (and I hope we are) then tonight's deadline is irrelevant.

What that Rhys Bennett would be rubbish?

If so he’s generally thought of quite well among Mansfield fans, I said at the time it be a good signing, very good on the ball for a L2 defender I mentioned aswell I bet.

Maybe you are getting mixed up?
Someone's gotta own up to being the one who said he was a bad signing.

Seems to be the latest rumour, I know your fans don't think much of him but it would seem that DC does.
It was more like the other way around. Fans loved him at the start of 2019/20 but he fell out of favour under DC, who had previously questioned the player's attitude when he was Fylde manager and Toure left there to go to Sutton.

There was a period of around 6-9 months in 2016 when our formation was essentially:

1) Trevor Carson
2-10) Nine blokes whose job it was to get the ball to Nathan Thomas
11) Nathan Thomas

It's possibly his one sustained spell of superb form in what has been a patchy career, but boy it was great fun while it lasted
He was very good for us after a slow start, It seems most other places he goes he never gets past the slow start, and to be honest if you go into a team fighting relegation like Notts County were then you don't get the luxury of a slow start, it's hit the ground running or find your chances limited.

Don't think there was much in his attitude to question last season. He was excellent during a difficult start in which you could more have understood had he gone missing. He was allowed at one point to spent time in France on compassionate leave, including the time spent in self isolation on returning. Normally that would set alarms bells ringing but last season wasn't a normal season.

Richard Nartey from Burnley is looking likely to be confirmed soon, plays CB or RB, he’s pretty good apparently, played under Clough at Burton.

Signed a new contract this summer so I presume season loan.

If he's as good as the three young centre-backs we've had on loan from Burnley, he'll be easily good enough for L2. It's their speciality.

There's been rumours of Ryan Loft leaving all day, we've rejected a number of bids this transfer window already for him so that would make sense.

I would've paid you to take him for most of last season but he's our only real source of goals in our current team, selling him essentially puts the nail in our coffin.

Alex Gilbert an AMC/winger/forward signs on loan from Brentford apparently concluding our transfer business.

There is zero chance Pools sign Toure, DC isn't a fan of his and he's been quite vocal about it in the past.

I’d be very surprised if we’re paying a fee for anyone, but suppose you never know.

Bradford fans on Twitter seem upset that we've outmuscled them again.

The Gotts link is interesting - not seen anybody credible mention it, but it seems to be gathering momentum. Would've thought he's far too good for us.
