He's been wrong on our transfers a few times, but feels like this transfer is coming together. Looked good against us in the past (may even have scored against us for Salford), and seems to be rated highly by all the Leeds lot.

We’ve lost our entire back 4 from last season. 2 turned down new deals, 2 sold within the last couple of weeks. We’ve brought in two defenders over the summer. We have 5 defenders, FIVE. Two of them spent a lot of last season injured, in Feeney’s case pretty much all of last season injured.

Anthony Evans is absolutely dreadful, one of the worst players I've seen at us in the last few years.

Junior Brown was a Crewe lad but we released him when he was quite young. Nice kid but unsure he's EFL standard.

With Evans, Blackpool fans warned us about signing him. We thought he'd fit in well with us but games really passed him by. Probably played a decent pass against Blackpool and had a decent game against yourselves funnily enough, but every other time he featured he was anonymous. All that promise but seems to have lost his way. Not sure he's cut out for the physicality of lower league football either, never really liked a tackle here and that's probably why we didn't sign him after Paderborn paid him up.

The money we got for Hayden and Tanner probably had to go on a new load of seats for Hartlepool. Should just give them those ones we bought from Darlo when they moved out of the Feethams. Sure the Monkey Hangers would love to park their arses on those.
