He was shocking for us. I presume from your comment that he fared much better with you in his previous spell there.

I won't be unduly worried if he plays against us on Saturday. Watch him net the winner now!
Yeah our previous manager signed all your rejects. Joe Riley, Callum Guy, Danny Devine, Jordan Gibson, Omari Patrick. There’s probably more that I’ve forgot.

Patrick was good for us last season which got him the move up to League 1. Think he’s struggled to hold down a place at Burton so maybe League 2 is his level.

Callum Guy was actually on loan with us and I think it's fair to say he was our best player in a very poor team we had at the time. I think most Bantams would have been happy to keep him. How as he done for you?

Joe Riley was very unlucky with injuries and probably only managed a couple of starts for us, so difficult to judge him here.

Danny Devine was a local lad who never managed to establish himself here. I thought he would end up with one of our local non league clubs to be honest.

Jordan Gibson flattered to deceive during his spell with us and not sorry to see him released. His dad was very prominent on social media criticising our club and our fans all the time.

Made up that Patrick is back. We've missed him, hopefully a striker is incoming, what's this about Vernam leaving Bradford? He'd fit both our main criteria for new players. Used to play for a team whose name ends 'city' and used to play for a team whose name starts 'Brad'.

He put in the best individual performance I’ve seen from a Tranmere player this season, albeit in the EFL trophy at Salford.

Also sad to see Scotty Davies injury has led to his premature retirement.
Duffy was still good on the ball, but always seemed to play at half pace. I just don't think he had the legs for the pressing game Mellon likes.

Good to see Davies is staying on until the end of the season in an off the pitch role.

The same transfer rumour Twitter account that first broke the Patrick news last night and also mentioned Omotoye the other day… well it’s now saying we’ve enquired about taking Zanzala back.

Callum Guy is our best midfielder in my opinion. He’s one of the few players from the current squad who I’d be bothered about losing.

You had one big bite of our first team, one time. How's that going for you?

To be fair you could always just throw Richie Bennett back in my face.

I'll accept the tradeoff. Weirdly our attack would actually look better if we had Bennett.

Robbie Stockdale (who is a breath of fresh air after the increasing bad temper of Keith Hill and the cosmic level bollocks of Barry-Murphy) has done an interview on Zoom.

George Broadbent (young midfielder who was on loan from Sheff U until Jan) has extended his loan until the end of the season. Gives decent, if so far a bit inconsistent, cover, and should improve with more game time

Discussions ongoing with Mansfield and Corey O'Keeffe, other potential RB/RWB targets identified if its a no-go.

Other possible signings as well - depends on whether any of ours get offers which are acceptable to us (Jake Beesley to Blackpool is one rumour...)

If he plays the way he did when we had him the first time then we absolutely would. Probably unlikely though, he was with us for 6 months and was excellent for 4 of those so the majority of his time in this division he hasn't been that good.

When you were at BP this season he looked dangerous, missed a sitter but at the time I was still saying to my mates he's a real nuisance to defenders and we've missed that.

Our fans thought he was dreadful that day! (I thought he did okay in the air but not much else).

After a few games, I genuinely thought we'd got one of the top talents in the league - think it was after he scored a great goal against Oldham he's been woeful ever since. More than three months of looking like a competition winner playing in clown shoes. I wanted him to do well, but his confidence is rock bottom and he is terrified every time the ball comes near him. Think Cooper is gonna freeze him out anyway.

Tom Dallison has left Crawley to sign for Colchester!

Good centre half and can fill in at left back. I'm a bit shocked we have sold him to be honest.

He was out of contract in the summer (I believe) so I'm guessing he turned down a new contract and we decided to take in the transfer cash... Hundreds apparently.

2 1/2 year deal for him.

We've allegedly bid £41k for Luke Charman at Darlington. It's a weird figure so I'd imagine it is a release clause of some kind.

that’s the thing, our strikers are that shite that even someone doing ok in the air but not much else would be a huge improvement

Was very impressed with Couto when we played you at Boundary Park. Certainly looks a decent prospect.

Apparently Brighton and Leicester are among the clubs interested also Burnley and Everton interested in 17 yr old Harry Vaughan you never know we might be able to pay the EFL loan off

Same. He was giving Whelan and McDonald a tough time, bullying them really. His miss was horrific, but in that one game I seen more from him than I've seen from any of our strikers this season.

Interesting update on the Tom Dalison transfer to Colchester.
It seem the managing director of Crawley Town, Selim Gaygusuz, also acted as Dalison's agent in the transfer.

Now, I believe Mr Gaygusuz is an honest and thoroughly trustworthy person but there surely has to be a conflict of interest here?

Depends how desperate Cooper is for Zanzala to leave, if he even wants him to go at all. I couldn't see him releasing him to a side stuck in the same relegation battle as us, unless he's got someone lined up he'd much rather have. If he bags a few goals for someone else it will only be at detriment to ourselves.

Signed defender Anthony Glennon on loan from Burnley, had a stint at Grimsby a couple of years ago. Any good GTFCfish?

Anthony Glennon was world class a couple of seasons ago when he was at Grimsby. It was only a matter of time till he broke into Burnley’s team and then got sold on to replace Marcelo at Real Madrid.

Well if we genuinely have enquired, and Exeter are genuinely interested, then we have no chance.

Given that they said he was the best player outside the Champions League (paraphrasing a bit there), I'd say they rate him. Another good signing (on paper) but I was half-expecting Bobby Thomas to be coming back.
