He was close to signing last season,so could have legs in it.
My leak mentioned Agard, but other than that,it’s more of a drip recently.

Just under 3 weeks to kick off and we only have Marcus Carver, we have a playoff budget (hah) and income from three first team player sales, when he's gonna spend the fucker :£

Alan Nixon (who at this point is as accurate at those kids in their mams box bedroom reporters) linking us with Kieran Agard at Donny?

Would be a massive disappointment if he's the man to lead the line next season.
33 in October, Sounds about right.

Heard absolutely nothing at our end other than Notts County and that was off a shite Twitter account. Our club is better at keeping things quiet than GCHQ theses days
I hope he doesn’t come here, you stung us last season with the superstar Bogle.

I’d be very surprised if you were seriously in for Oliver he made it very clear that he was going back up north from the start.
I know, but we definitely did still talk to him. And Marquis. I think we've so far also been "linked" with just about every other striker out there too, which is probably just agent talk. Our budget is allegedly going to be top six so do have some cash to spend on the forwards we need even without the apparent £800k up front from Huddersfield for Rudoni. So far, the closest we've got to actually signing one is the rather underwhelming Josh Parker who played on trial.

If you believe the usual rumour sites we're apparently due to re-sign Ian Henderson. And I'd bloody love it if we did. From the outside many would look at that and go "he's 37 and hardly scored for Salford last year. Why would you want that?".
But he's a club legend, only a few goals off our top scorer record and he just seems to 'fit' here. An experienced head to compliment our EFL-inexperienced forwards. He left under a massive cloud. Accusing the now (thankfully) departed board and management team of notifying him he was released via our social media updates to fans after failing to sort out his contract extension. This led to the club pointing fingers at him and accusing him of lying, and trying to grab too much money. All a bit unpleasant. Given what transpired about the ex-board and manager I firmly give him the benefit of the doubt as I expect most Dale fans would.

Bet Henderson would have to take a 80% pay cut.

We've signed Tom Clayton on a 2 year deal from Liverpool for an undisclosed fee. He was captain of their under 23s and is also a Scotland under 21 internationalist. On paper sounds #highlyrated.

Swindon Town have completed the signing of 21-year-old Liverpool defender Tom Clayton for an undisclosed fee.
The talented youngster has signed a two-year deal at SN1 after Town agreed a deal with the Premier League giants earlier this month for his signature.
Clayton is a versatile, defensive-minded player who joined the Liverpool academy when he was just nine.

He subsequently went on to appear in all their age groups at youth level, eventually breaking into Steven Gerrard’s Under-18s setup during the 2017/18 season.
Tom then made the step up to their Under-23s squad, where he adopted a central midfield role and was handed the captains armband.
In June last year, Clayton was given his first taste of international football as he was called up to play for Scotland’s Under-21s.
“I’m so pleased to join Swindon. Having spoken to a number of people about the club before signing I knew this was the place I wanted to play my football and take the next step in my career, so it wasn’t a hard decision at all,” Tom said.
“I’m itching to get started and push myself hard here. I want to become a first team regular and show the fans what I’m about.
“This is a great club with superb ambition, and I really want to be part of this exciting project moving forward.”
Town First-Team Head Coach, Scott Lindsey, said: “Tom has great talent and this is a fantastic signing for the football club.
“He’s come from one of the top academies in the country and worked with some top coaches, so he brings with him a real understanding of the game at such a young age, and he’s also very versatile which gives us options.”
Town Technical Director, Sandro Di Michele, said: “Tom is an excellent defender and comes to us from Liverpool who have developed him well. He was captain there last season for their Under-23s so also has great leadership qualities.
“He’s represented Scotland’s Under-21s so comes with experience of international football, so he’ll add so much to our squad as the new season fast approaches.”

I don't doubt that Salford inflated his wage when he went there. And he was (rumoured/expected) to be our highest earner when we had him last. But the guy is loaded, it's not like he needs the money. He has a lot of non-football business interests. I'm not saying he'll play for free. But if he's looking for a final year, a bit of an ego boost, then even if we were to pay him a few grand less than a few years ago I can see this deal happening.

When we signed a former Liverpool u23 captain, he ended up as our captain and a club legend. I believe he played for you on loan before he came to us. Unfortunately, he is now 3/4 years into mnd.

Aye to counter that though we also signed the United U23 captain of a team which had Pogba and Lingard in it, Tom Thorpe. Tbf he seemed to make a living for himself think he went to Rotherham but I thought he was shite. They’re always a gamble these type of signings.

Can’t say I know anything about Halliday, another Stephen agent ex-Boro youth player. Photo leaked of Vandaine Oliver signing too holding his shirt up.
Halliday was excellent for us in League Two. He then went to Doncaster and never kicked on. Mind you, they've taken our last two right backs and fucked them both up so I wouldn't read too much into that.

Solid signing for league two.

Stephen Darby is fondly remembered by us for scoring the winning penalty at the Valley in the play offs. Absolutely gutted to see he got mnd, horrible disease.

Signed christy pym on loan from peterborough for the season, who will almost certainly be our first keeper.

Now that is a signing.
