He started against us last season but was crap and got subbed off - Armstrong was Harrogate's main man, so easy to see why he didn't get much of a look-in.

Politic snapped his ACL off his bone which happened to be the end of his BWFC career where as Ronan was never going to break into the XI as a 10 under Evatt. There's a lot to like with the way he plays the game, coached really well on the technical side, just needs the chance to display his talent. GL to him!

I think it could be a cracking signing. No guarantee it will come off but I always thought he looked very good technically when he played. Just needs a chance. Hope we have a sell on if it does

Started his career with us, would be a great signing for any league two club.

I still don’t believe it’ll happen but he’s exactly the kind of player we need to sign to get out this division.

Best player along with Politic three seasons back when he was 18.......Never had a chance under Evatt and eventually the team left him behind.
Went out to Scandanavia on loan then to Scotland last season.
Could be anything for you this season. Dont think one Bolton fan begrudges him this move

The recruitment appears to be spiced with huge potential - whether that is realised remains to be seen. But permanent signings over loans gets my vote every time.

Yep loans are always best utlilised to supplement rather than be overly relied upon. Suffered badly the last two January's. I assume we will still have the full capacity of five loans mind.

He was a bit dodgy on crosses,other than that,a fantastic keeper.
He saved us in games single handedly at times,absolutely crazy decision to let him go in favour of Killip.

I still don’t think it’s Grigg as Pomlett apparently told a fan at the Leamington game we had a deal in place, it was just down to personal terms. This tells me we have had a bid accepted for someone.
