Yep whenever I've seen Hudlin he's looked a poor footballer. He's got this USP of being "the tallest professional footballer" and its served him well. He also bagged in the NL final but unless my memory fails me, he wasn't even a big part of Solihull's season. Wasn't he mainly an impact sub?
i can't wait for Carlisle v Wimbledon - 6'9" striker v 6'9" keeper - they'll probably get their legs tangled and be out for the season.

Signed RWB Kemi Seriki on loan from Sheffield United. Had an interesting season last year, being on loan at Beerschot, recalled by the Blades, playing against the Florists then going on loan to Boston...

I believe he originally came through Bury's youth teams, which were well run by and large, so that's in his favour...

Yeah I think so. He came on as sub against us at our place I think and we gifted him 2 goals Then let our smallest fullback mark him in the first half of the final.

He certainly shouldn’t be a starter for any team with ambitions of either going up imo although would no doubt be useful when chasing a game in the last 20 minutes.

I saw Hudlin being described as a ‘greyhound chasing a balloon’ and I’ve not stopped laughing about it since, it’s perfect

Bryn Morris confirmed for a year. If Hurst can reignite his previous form then it’s a decent signing but that’s on hold until he’s played at least 10 games. Probably the injury risk signing we make this summer.

We’re about to announce Kieran Green from Halifax on a fee, a relatively decent one too apparently. He certainly looks to be an excellent player.

Bryn Morris is an excelent player if you can get him on the pitch.
Was lined up to sign for us after his loan period.
Unfortunately spent more time on the treatment table than the pitch.

About to be announced. Any good?

I was really looking forward to him playing a more attacking role. He played right wing back most of last season - great going forward, can't defend at all.

He was handed number 7 and looked like he'd be playing wide of a front 3, but doesn't quite fit a 4-3-3 which Wild seems to be setting us up for.

If you want a wide man to run at defences and drill low crosses in, he should be great. If you want him on the right of a back four then he'll get rinsed every time.

Well he can't be that bad if Huddersfield have signed him.

Doesn't always work like that though does it? Birmingham paid £2 million for Sam Cosgrove before loaning him to us, and he turned out to be toilet.

I like having the option of Hudlin but pretty sure he won't be our main striker and that now the Rudi business is done we'll move for at least one more striker too.

Cheers for the feedback.

He sounds exactly what we are looking for. Him on the right, Shade on the left. Great going forward, rubbish at the back both of them. Next season is going to be fun!! Just need a forward or 2 now and we're done I reckon!

Sounds like Nathan Byrne. Almost guaranteed to be playing a wing back system so I guess he will slot into the RWB position.

Have we paid money again or was he out of contract? Bit nuts at the moment with fees being splashed out all over the shop.

Last season, before you all went to the other forum, that Halifax fan put up a picture of one of our scouts and the notes they'd put down for two players at Halifax whilst on a scouting mission. One was that Spence and one was Green. I remember Spence had loads of plusses and Green had load of negatives written down.

I've seen them both, Green seemed a decent player, bit of a water carrier. Spence did seem the more expansive player. Surprised he's still at Halifax considering the exodus. We're absolutely stacked in midfield so it won't be us going for him.

I've found the post
Lot of positives written down for Spence, memory must be hazy as it's not negatives for Green, just not much for him and I forgot it contained another guy, he's just moved to Lincoln I think.

Swindon going berserk. Absolutely berserk. Fair play to them. Don't know who their manager is but the cameras are going to be on him right from the start of play when it all starts.

Haha okay. Still waiting for your reply to my post when you said we'd taken the crap Halifax defender and I responded to say we'd taken the only one that was in the TOTY? Halifax fans have been saying we've taken their best two players so I'll trust them on this I reckon.

A single shot from a notebook in a single match? Glad Stocky is on the case telling us Green is shite, if we get a memo to PH quick enough we might be able to get rid in this window. Thankfully he tipped us off about the rubbish Jimmy McAtee last season, that one could have been really embarrassing for us!
