Oh yeah. Forgot about that! Won't have been huge though. You paid a fee for Josh Davison didn't you?

Yeah he was with us before, I really liked him to be honest but could see why he went to you as the coach offer was something he wanted. The fact he's elongated his career so well is testament to him as a man so personally I would be more than happy to have him back with us.Bloody hope not!
Glenn has been winning our player of the season for the last few seasons. Very good shot stopper. Weaknesses...maybe a little short and his long distribution is hit and miss but he would be a big loss for us.
Casey
Edit, I think we signed him from Gillingham as a keepers coach but the keepers we had at the time were so poor Glenn had to take over.

I’d only expect us to do that if we have a replacement lined up.Stockport and Maybe Bradford will get rid of one before the window closes
Sorry mate this is now confirmed, joins us on loan until January.Bloody hope not!

Very happy with that, although surprised Crawley have accepted a loan deal to be honest.Sorry mate this is now confirmed, joins us on loan until January.

Haha. Yeah to be fair he's not a good player but might do alright at NL standard. One page back, we all mostly like him other than Soup Ladle who hates his guts
Barrow/Carlisle fans…
Mike Jones has been on trial with us all pre season now, and the 2 occasions I’ve seen him I’ve thought he’s looked neat and tidy and not really put a foot wrong. Rumour is we’re likely to sign him so wondered what your thoughts are on him?
I know he’s 34 now, but likely to be coming in as back up to Banks & Oldaker, as well as Oyeleke when he’s back fit (hoping for a miracle on that one like). Decent back up at NL level you think?
If he’s fit and can stay fit then a cracking signing. He’s flat footed but apparently nobody at Shrewsbury or us picked up on it which led to the Achilles problem. He likes ball to feet or to run onto? Can also play on the left. We've signed Fejiri Okenabirhie on a 1 year deal as back up to Joe Ironside. Sounds like he missed the whole of last season with an Achilles problem but got 14 in 32 for Donny overall. Any good Donny fans? What type of striker is he?
This is why I think he’s been on trial all pre season rather than just being signed. He’s obviously good enough to be at the very least back up in the NL, with 500 FL appearances behind him. But with our injury issues last year I think cook is wary of bringing injury prone players in, and he’s probably wanting Jones to prove his fitness over pre season. He will be a decent backup at NL level but that's if he can keep himself fit, and that's a big if. He played probably 11-12 games for us at the start of the 20-21 season, got injured and was never really seen again for us. Played in a solitary Pizza Cup game last season.

He was a fantastic player for us when we signed him. A big part of our team that reached the league 2 playoffs a few seasons back. Then he started getting injuries and he went downhill. Barrow probably got the over the hill version. Probably decent back up for NL level, but finished at this level.Barrow/Carlisle fans…

If that is the case then it's in very poor taste for Patrick to pretend he is about to become a father and get all the best wishes of the fans, and for Paul Simpson to go along with it in his latest statement.Omari Patrick could miss this weekends game against Crawley due tohis girlfriend being on the verge of giving birthhis impending move to Tranmere.
Yeah his video 3 months ago with all his friends and family involved to do the gender reveal was all part of the grand plan of this move to Tranmere. If that is the case then it's in very poor taste for Patrick to pretend he is about to become a father and get all the best wishes of the fans, and for Paul Simpson to go along with it in his latest statement.
I know this year our transfer policy is for Quality over Quantity -- But there is simply no way we would fork out that kind of money. Especially for a fourth division player. I remember when we went down and although we wanted to keep Luke. He stated there was no way he wanted to play 4th div football. Appreciate he is still under contract to you . But players have a way round of getting what they want.To be honest the Luke McCormick transfer to Bristol Rovers is unlikely to happen because Chelsea will get 50% of any transfer fee . They would have to offer a million for it to be worth it to Wimbledon. I doubt that will happen.
Was going to reply with the same thing. Nobody wants to keep an unhappy player. I was surprised McCormick went to Wimbledon and not someone like Charlton.I know this year our transfer policy is for Quality over Quantity -- But there is simply no way we would fork out that kind of money. The idea that he's worth a million quid is unhinged. He's worth what someone will pay, and right now that really isn't any more than a quarter of that. The calculation for us is purely whether we can get a replacement as good for his wages and 50% of the fee, or whether he'll really come good this year and sell for much more later on.Was going to reply with the same thing. I wonder if Luke regrets not coming back to the gas now?...at least he is still nearer home I guess
