I'm sure i've read he prefers playing CB these days.

He is a great signing if you need someone at the back to sort out long balls like we did last season. His problem is he's pretty bad on the ball and struggles against quick or wide players!
He may well have to stand in at centre back on Saturday with our usual choice (Baggot) being injured

I don't think you will either. But its going to be close. Also what happens if your new players don't jell ?
It’s only 3 signings so far, with 3 leaving. I’d be more concerned if we were forced to limp on with our previous lot who amassed 14 points and 7 goals from 23 games.

Latest on the rumour mill for GFC are James Henry and Jack Marriott. I imagine there is a Millwall link with Henry/Harris/Jackett somewhere along the line.

Marriot would be a ridiculous signing. Not sure how good Henry is anymore, was absolutely class in L1 a few seasons ago though.

Brad Walker signs for us.
Decent signing for you that. If he can stay fit (and it's a big if), he's a decent player and presence at league 2 level. He can also play as a central defender. Good passer but probably too slow for league 1. Seemed like a decent lad though.

If we’ve apparently bid 200k for Sterry then Wilson needs giving his P45 asap.

We are being heavily linked with Ayoub Assal. Any Wimbledon fans? Or anyone who’s played against him this season got opinions on him? I’ve seen some decent hype about it but haven’t seen him live.
The stand-out player for positive reasons when they beat us and scored a quality goal.

Very promising young attacking midfielder/second striker that can play wide or through the middle.
Currently playing on the left for us.
Small, quick and tricky, has scored 3 or 4 carbon copy goals this season, where he cuts in from the left and curls right footed shots in to the far corner.
Gets fouled/bullied a lot due to his size, doesn't get all the fouls he should do, and then has a tendency to lose his head a bit, but he might grow out of that given he's only 20.
Very useful in transition/counter-attacking, although can make the wrong decision/be a little greedy at times, but again his decision making will probably improve with age.
Still a bit raw, but definitely capable of playing at a higher level. One of the few bright points from our appalling run in league 1 second half of last season.
QPR and Fulham were allegedly interested last month, but god knows if that's true.
Missed our last 2 games with "illness" but not sure if his head's been turned/someone is in for him...
Seems only a matter of time, but will be gutted if he goes for less than £1m...

Impressed me when the Wombles visited Valley Parade earlier this season. He did dive a lot though.

Hope you sign him before we play them again at the weekend

I was told we’ve bid around 700k but you want 1m for him. You’d probably get a decent percentage sell on with a fee too.

He must be crackers, injury ravaged season and out of contract in the summer.
He’s shit not mad.

Some random Hartlepool fan on Twitter makes up something and then all of a sudden people debate it like it’s an actual thing.

I could imagine you're in his ear but 200k when he's got 6 months off his deal, nah.

We’ve announced 4 signings but it’s just our managerial team signing new deals

Six years Glenn played for us. Never let us down. Great injury record. Great shot stopper. We let him go for nothing. Not only that but we let him go to a relegation rival for nothing!

Wagmi did say they were going to bring a new funding system in. I think it's called we aint got a clue.

Yeah that sucks, it’s not going to be of any comfort to you guys at the moment but we probably would have paid a small fee for him if WAGMI had insisted on it. They didn’t and Glenn got a mutual termination instead.

Feel for you lot at the moment.
