And current NL South player of the month. I like going down the route of signing non league potential.
Yep, and a promising player.

Not sure if anything will come of it but I happen to know he won't be the only non-league talent we make a bid for this window as well.

John Rooney is flattered to be linked

Ethan Coleman signed from Orient.
22 y.o. Midfielder been on loan at Bromley.
Seem to signing a couple for the future.
Baggot gone back to Ipswich so need a CB now.

Jackett signed him for us 12 months ago. He was not really ready 12 months ago for league football, but he came into a struggling team and was thrown in at the deep end and struggled for form. Jackett was sacked about a month later.

Can't fault his effort, but he isn't good enough to play Wellens style of football and lacks a yard or two of pace.

That and I don't think he was ready for League football, but he's done well at Bromley and Kings Lynn in the National League in the last 18 months to be fair to him so he has something about him.

Scored a last minute equaliser away at Colchester last season which is what he will be remembered for.

What are your thoughts on Baggot? We've just signed him.
Really like him.
He is still young and has the odd ricket in him, scored an own goal, gave away a pen.
Overall though he is good in the air and pretty comfortable on the ball.
Most of our fans are surprised he has gone and would have happily kept him.
Strange he has been recalled.
Could be that Ipswich want him to play in a higher division or it could be that he hasn’t been played much lately.
Either way, I expect him to do very well for you.

We already have Williams, Jeffries and O’Keefe and we have just signed Dieng and Lapsili so I wouldn’t expect him to be a starter but Jackett obviously saw something that made him think he may be one for the not too distant future.

David Amoo has left us and joined Crewe. Didn't feature that much for us, showed a couple of bright moments for us off the bench. Probably a good move for him, you'd assume he'll get more game time than with us, we don't really play with out and out wingers so always felt like he didn't have that much of a role to play for us. Good luck to him.

Makes a change our ex players going Crewe than vice versa!

That was the issue with Amoo under DC for us, we didn’t play wingers, DC tried to make him a striker which he generally wasn’t and didn’t feature.

Was great in 19/20 for us though, not your standard Crewe type player though. Always popular with Vale fans though probably well past his peak.

Latest rumour is Connor Masterton, possibly a permanent deal.
Would be delighted if that one came off. He was excellent for us before when on loan.

This would be an amazing signing, was a class above when on loan and that was in the league above

Grimsby fans, looks like we’re getting Matty Pollock on loan…I hear he’s pretty decent?
I think if Pollock had pace he could go onto be a Premier League defender, his reading of the game and physical ability are second to none.

I feel like he’ll get caught out at the top end of the Championship eventually but he’s a very good L1 defender and will no doubt be excellent for you.

Curle reckons we've 'held talks' about Danny Johnson, but the message back is 'not at the minute'

IE We've got short arms, deep pockets.

Rumours going around that we've bid for Alty defender Toby Mullarkey.

Fair dos at least we've asked which I never expected we would. Fits the noises out the club and what Singh wants i.e wait until the end of the window and see what we can get knock down or for free. Wait around for him and he'll be off to Colchester. A rare occasion when location has to work in our favour. Any slight bit of will to retain league status, we should be signing him up

He won't be off anywhere other than Walsall or down a division if Clough plays him this weekend. Will be interesting to see what the Mansfield lineup brings this weekend.

Singh's mantra, save on two weeks wages and try and sign him on the 31st.

Random name came up in his press conference today, Jordan Cook! Fucker is still here, must’ve found him locked in cupboard somewhere

Ta.

Although the deal may now be off as rumours are going around that Watford have pulled the move due to an injury to one of their other CBs. Boo.
