Jimmy Spencer has had his contract terminated by Notts County. But, I thought him and Stead were going to rip it up in League Two? Ravenbish wasn't wrong about this one was he?

Just like the Tranmere fans were sure Koumas would do last season.

Jimmy Spencer released. Reliably informed he's going to another L2 club. Well done, you've got yourself a very young good player if fit, but it's okay, we've got 34yo Jon Stead.

I give up.

Almost fell of my chair at work when this popped up on Sky Sports.

I fucking hate this club. I doubt Spencer will ever get back to what he was any time soon and he'll never be prolific but at least he's not Jon fucking Stead

Congrats on Stevenage for signing their own player.

Jamie Jones? At Stevenage? Haha!

What happened to him? Was destined for great things at one point I'm sure, or was at least highly rated at Orient.

Maybe on Football Manager, he's gash.

When he broke through he did well and was a promising goalkeeper, sound at League One - but overhyped. He had a string of injuries and struggled to get his place back at times when we had Lee Butcher, Ryan Allsop and Eldin Jakupovic. He never really pushed on from the original promise he showed and I always thought going into the League One play off final he was probably the weakest member of the starting XI. He didn't have the greatest of games in the play off final and then buggered off to Preston (as I said at the time, how?) and that seemed to upset some people, he gave stick back on Twitter and that upset more people and since then he's turned from someone who was really overrated by the fans to someone who is underrated by the fans. He's a bog standard lower league keeper, probably upper League Two is his level - however he does have a fairly big weakness from long range strikes.

If I had to take Jones or Cisak, I would take Cisak every single day of the weak.

Hot on the heels of selling one highly rated youngster, we've transfer listed another, Matt Stevens. Has been tearing it up for the youth team but never really got a look in despite us being pants up front recently. Wasn't even put on the bench when we had no other fit strikers against Carlisle which probably made his mind up to turn down our new contract offers.

Hopefully the stories about clubs being in for him before were true otherwise we'll go to a tribunal in the summer if he doesn't go in the next few days.

Michael Jackson was better with kids than it appears we are.

Spencer is going to Cambridge, where he'll probably be great.

We're stuck with lumbering carthouse Jon fucking Stead and an absolute cretin as manager. I'm looking forward to us letting Aborah go to Romania or somewhere because Fullarton prefers Scot Bennett as a fucking central midfielder.

Been informed that we've turned down bids for our captain Jordan Moore-Taylor from Wigan.

No pressure for us to sell as he apparrently signed a contract extension in the Autumn.

We're looking for a striker still and been linked with Steven Davies in the snooze, but the fans are hoping it'll be Eoin Doyle.

The rest of the foreign lads leaving seems inevitable now.

If we release Aborah :ffs:

Amevor and Snijders are worth keeping too, both haven't been given nearly enough opportunity to adapt to the pace of League Two, but both have shown plenty of ability. We're so bad at doing.. anything.

Courtney Meppen-Walter has signed for Ashton United.

Maybe when he turns up there he'll realise that talent alone won't get him far in his career and he'll actually need to apply himself professionally if he wants to make a career for himself.

Jimmy Spencer to us sounds like a done deal then. I was taking the piss out of his stats earlier in the season. Is he any good?

Theoretically. We haven't seen enough of him since the career threatening injury to know, which is why everyone is so pissed off.

Goal scoring machine at youth level Matt Stevens transfer listed after rejecting two contract offers from us.

No fucking wonder when he can't even make the bench while we play Shaun fucking Batt upfront on his own without a sub striker on the bench.

This club is such a farce at the moment, and the blame for this yet again lies solely with Martin 'I'll blood the youth' Allen. Fuck off, cretin.

A lot of people are kicking up a fuss over Dicker leaving, not sure why really. Yes he's a good player but he'll be on a massive wage given that Kav signed him and it's no secret that Curle has pretty much already been trying to replace him with Liddle anyway. If his wage is the difference between us signing someone Curle actually wants and not signing them then I'll happily see him go, only problem I could have with it is if he isn't replaced.

I do rate Dicker but I would agree a lot of fans seem to believe he's the best player in the world. I'd rather we keep him than have to replace him but he isn't totally irreplaceable in terms of being a cultured midfielder who tackles and keeps the ball well and picks out a decent pass.

The fans' reactions to this on Facebook is a bit of a lesson in why we're struggling to get back to the attendances we got a few years ago. One guy has ranted that if the club sell Dicker then he won't come back after the Everton game and this has got 12 likes. I know a lot of pressure is put on the club to win the fans back but they've been doing everything they can in this respect so far this season and still attendances haven't improved much.

So its on to those 1,000 or so fans now who support the club and would go but have concocted some bullshit reason not to, to ask themselves what exactly they expect from the club because if they want to be entertained for a reasonable price by a likeable group of players aiming for promotion then it's all there for them.

Scott Griffiths has joined Woking on a month's loan. Strange.

Probably allows Alan Sheehan to move to LB and this new kid from Hull to sign early next week.
