We had Alfei on loan and he was responsible for a large number of the goals we conceded.

as well as Banton on trial, we also have Miles Addison.

The ultimate 'if you can keep him fit'/'there's talent there' duo. I've wanted Addison for a couple of years, he's a local lad and meant to be a nice bloke too, most of his weight issues have come from being injured and not playing for huge chunks of time but he seems to have got over the worst of that - just needs a permanent club to settle at.

Hartlepool have signed Luke James on loan.

Very good signing for them. Bingham and James, what a pairing!

Tom Nichols has moved to Peterborough. Fee rumoured to be £300k. He was out of contract in the summer so we've taken what we can now.

Fingers crossed for a decent sell on clause. Good move for him and he will do well there, as he's a great little player who, at 22, should improve.

We've released Gill Swerts, off to Cyprus or something now. Shame really, he was pretty good.

Enough time for you to get in a replacement?

I get the feeling Fullarton isn't a huge fan of the foreign lads. Which is a shame - Swerts, Snijders and Amevor all looked at least capable squad members and Aborah is obviously Aborah, we'd be silly to let him go.

I'd be surprised if we did today, although we may dip into the loan market when that window opens later this month.

Although we've lost our top scorer, which obviously isn't ideal, we do have a number of forward options still with Stockley, Wheeler, Alex Nicholls, Jake Taylor, Joel Grant.

Oh and Clinton Morrison and Will Hoskins....

Daniel Alfei set to join us on loan from Swansea... Am I right in thinking he's rubbish?

He was AWFUL for us, like really awful. Felt a little bad for him as he was so crap the fans really went against him, ironic cheers when subbed etc. Thing is he was just so bad defensively that he shouldnt of been in the side. Need to hope his confidence is back and that he has seriously worked on his game.

We're being linked with Danny Rose from Oxford again. Is he a winger or central midfielder?

It will be more than £300k, I'd imagine. Good luck to him. Peterborough sell players for good fees so here's hoping we reap the benefits in a few years.

Christ, 7 strikers, or 7 that can play as a striker!

In fairness with Alex Nicholls, he was much more impressive up front when he played for us than he was out wide or in midfield.

Yep and you can add our youngsters Jamie Reid and Ollie Watkins to that number, both of whom have played 10 games between them this season.

I like Alex Nicholls and think he could do a job through the middle. He's quick enough and scores different types of goals (scored a good header on Saturday). 7 goals from attacking midfield isn't a bad stat so he can do a good job up top.

Alex Nicholls was one we were hanging our future prospects on until he got the 'unfortunate' injury whilst in the process of scoring.
He needed to move to enable him to regain his fitness within a change of environment.
Good to hear that he is doing well at your place.

Evan Horwood has joined Grimsby Town.

Always liked Evan, shame injuries set him back plus Buchanan is better.

Ollie Watkins is the one I'd like to see given Tom's place in the team. He showed a lot when coming off the bench in December and he's got the most potential to earn us another fee out of the options we have. That has to be our model.

We just signed Kelle Roos a GK from derby. Too many mistakes from James Shea this season.

It sounds like he's a straight replacement for Ledson should we fail to hold on to him for the rest of the season. Still no winger but I'd be happy to have him on board.

OXFORD MAIL - Michael Appleton has confirmed Danny Rose is on the verge of leaving Oxford United, saying: "Rose, 27, has found his opportunties limited this season due to the form of central midfielders Liam Sercombe and John Lundstram."

I understand Wycombe are in need of a goalkeeper, and we are sending them Ryan Allsop on loan. Was a very decent keeper for us in League One as we won promotion, went on to do ok in the Championship before being replaced, and also made his PL debut this season as well. Good keeper, who we think highly of.

Did he like to get forward and did he have any pace? Trying to pretend I've not read any reviews on him but got to admit those of your fans and the Pompey fans aren't convincing. Nonetheless he will be given a chance, and hopefully he has improved but Murray has said it's someone for the future which says to me he will sign in the Summer as his contract is up at Swansea.

He didn't really do much if we are honest. He did get forward a bit but I don't recall him ever creating anything of note. Generally he was at fault for us conceding goals and he looked way out of his depth. Might be good for you though, I think there is probably a player in there somewhere!

Sceptical of the Alfei signing but....

York fans laughed when we signed Benning and described him as a horror show yet he's our signing of the season and is genuinely top draw.

Got to trust Muzza's judgement on this one, for the time being.
