Love Griff but he's been very poor this season so not that surprised. Also a very old school full back - ie almost completely unable to pass a football anywhere other than 50 yards up the touch line, so doesn't fit Jones' vision of a technical passing team.

Yeah we absolutely collapsed when he got injured, his experience and attacking knowhow really brought something to the team, however a fee for a 32 yo certainly isn't bad at all.

Nicky Hunt has been excellent for us. My only criticism is that for someone of such vast experience he does get involved in collecting daft yellow cards.

I wouldn't say he's injury prone, though he had been out for us for a number of weeks over December/New Year.

He had bought us a lot of stability down the right-hand side and does still have a good engine to get forward. You've got to understand too that he brings a lot of much needed experience and leadership to the defence. I'm a bit gutted to be honest, I like him and hoped he'd be here next season too.

However, you can't stand in the way of someone being offered better terms if the fee is right and the player prefers to leave to play for an old pal of his.

Well, considering I'm advocating we double the fee if you'll take him, I'll leave that up to you to work out.

Hunt sounds like he's exactly what we need; experience and know how is sorely lacking in our defence as Matt Baudry tries to hold the whole thing together on his own while Clohessy fucks off upfield and the other two clowns give away a goal a game. Each.

Nicky Hunt is average for league two at best and really isn't a great loss to us or addition to orient.... you can tell he was good once but he's getting past it now.
Very slow and gets beat easily, he's alright going forward but not the best, don't think he's created anything this season, he's got great distribution, fantastic range of passing but thats about it and he's very good at going down, think he's got two people sent off this season by conning the ref, very experienced but I'm glad its him were loosing and not Benning Taff collins or pearce who are all far better. He's got one of the lowest average ratings this season from the games he's played too

My only problem with Hunt was his pace. He gets skinned far too easy by any winger with abit of pace. If Orient are paying for a 30 something right back then I don't really care. We've got someone lined up to sign, Probably on loan by the sounds of it once Hunt signs for Orient.

Jason 'Bants' Banton is our first and only rumour of the window. I think we'll mainly be looking at a couple of cheapish youth loans.

Update - Banton is training with us.

Someone reckons Miles Addison is too but I've not heard owt about that.

Yea I'd agree with that, nothing special for us made a few mistakes but was better than who we were playing at RB.
