Pleased with the Lalkovic signing although the last time I was pleased with us signing a Walsall player didn't turn out to be any good. I remember the Walsall fans warning us about Westcarr and they were exactly spot on.

Top signing though, Bennett, Roberts, Evans (still recovering from dirty Plimuff), Baker and Lalkovic all as attacking midfielders. Promotion vibes.

Latest on Green is the clubs are still talking to reach an agreement. Mansfield are demanding quite a high fee, Carlisle know that Mansfield have accepted that the player wants to leave so are trying to avoid paying way over the odds, but they are still confident that an agreement will be reached. At the moment the player is being patient and training as usual with his club.

We've signed 6ft 3 Latvian centre back Nauris Bulvitis... No me neither! Seems a good one though, captain at his last club with a good defensive record and an international. We've certainly had success in Eastern Europe before a la Buzsaky, Halmosi and Timar. Hopefully he's got a few mates to bring over as well!

One bad thing is this almost certainly confirms the departure of Curtis Nelson (to Championship club it seems).

Looks like we are building a far more physical unit than last year, sacrificing technical ability. Perhaps we are going more direct to attempt to get out of this shitpit. One things for sure, we should be dangerous from set pieces.

First sight you will think to yourself he could be a good player...then, after a while you realise that for all the pace and direct running not a lot happens.

If you sign him expect a couple of good goals and a couple of tap ins and a couple of assists.

After losing to Wimbledon in the playoffs it's almost as if Adams has said 'can't beat them join them', and we didn't have a lot of choice in a rebuild because the players that have left were always going to leave anyway. All of the players that have left so far weren't good enough anyway (Hartley etc), and Nelson was always too good for league 2 even if we'd got promoted he probably wouldn't have stayed.

Kevan Hurst could be a very good signing for Mansfield. On his day a great player, just them days were wearing thin at us. A new start could do him good.

He used to play for us in league 1, he cost us about £100k I think. He puts in a good cross, but not the quickest. Thought he was harshly released at the time.

We've known for about 3 weeks about this!

Good signing if he performs, drop in performances last season but has the quality, only left due to living in Lincoln and not wanting the 4 hour round trip daily so a very good signing for County IMO

Wycombe have signed Paris Cowan-Hall on loan from Millwall until January 31st. Happy with this as he's a decent p;layer i just hope he can avoid injuries that have plagued him in the past 2 seasons.
