mowgli he won't fix your attacking problems. Player with potential, but to be honest I didn't see Kashket as much as the others but I don't think he's a Football League player - from what I saw about a year ago. He may have dramatically improved or I caught him on a bad day, enough people liked him, and he seemed to have fallen victim of Becchetti.

Magnus Okuonghae left by mutual consent with a year left on his deal.

Felt a bit sorry for him as he must have used to have been good and he came across like a likeable kind of guy. Injuries must have destroyed him though because he was absolutely laughably bad for us.

Probably coming to a Dagenham team near you...

Another incoming for Luton...

Left back Jack Senior signs from Huddersfield Town on a permanent 2-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Why was his mobile phone battery not dead when he was in that car park at Colchester. Awfully, awfully bad signing.

About to announce another incoming on twitter by the looks of things. Maybe the young left back from Huddersfield mentioned yesterday? Bit weird after talking about McJannett's pathway being blocked if so but who knows!

Jones claims on the official site that's why we let McJannett go as we are really excited about the potential of Senior and have been scouting him for a while. Intriguing, probably not great news for Dan Potts who has looked one of our weaker links thus far.

Stacey should be a good signing for you, scored a cracker for us last season and played well for the most part. He seemed pretty quick and was very direct, liked running at his man and he's good at it too which is more than can be said about a lot of wingers at this level.
Cheers sounds promising

It was someone from our league he was literally about to sign a contract thought wasn't it? For some reason I thought it was Notts County. Would have loved to have seen RavenBish's weekly reviews of him :bg:

The McJannet thing makes more sense now.

One injury prone centre half gone, one more to go...

Ah whoever it was, his mobile phone was on and working at the bloody time! £50,000 salary well spent! :ffs:

Well, perhaps I'm twisting Nathan Jones' words a little bit - he said he was further away from the first team than his counterparts. He probably would've been involved last night, but we've got Akin Famewo and James Justin as academy full backs, the former the same age, preferred.

So basically you can be good enough for Stoke City but you might not be good enough for Nathan Jones.

I wonder if Nathan Jones rates Xherdan Shaqiri, or is he not quite up to Jake Gray's level?

Well he's not going to go into Stoke's first team picture either is he? Jones didn't say he didn't rate him, he said his pathway into the first team is blocked for the foreseeable here. If he's going to stick it out in a youth team he might as well do it in a category A Prem team one.

But "he'd probably never have got a pro contract at Luton" is what it says further up this thread.

The fact Stoke have spent 6 figures on him suggests they think he's good enough to get one there.

True, I think Kenny is wrong on that front. As Hatter86 has said, I think he was probably next in line for a pro-deal. He was the youngest of the youth team back five I believe which would explain why he was yet to have one while the others all do (or maybe we did offer him one, who knows?).

We are announcing a signing at half-time. Very exciting.

Are you going to do what we did and present a loanee to the fans at half-time?

we've had one rumour today and it's not him so all signs point to some 19 year old on loan. So, maybe.

Alex Iacovitti has signed from Forest until the end of the season. Very happy with this one with what I've seen of him.

Seems Potts days could be numbered with the Senior signing. Being honest I prefer Potts to O'donnell on the other side, would hope Justin starts pushing him out soon.

Aaron Collins from Wolves, know absolutely nothing about him but he's been signed as a winger

The thing that SO'D has in his favour is an absolute beast of a box-to-box engine. Wasted on him somewhat as he can't cross for shit, but he can get up and down the touchline all day which is what the system demands. Justin looked buggered after 80 mins against Villa - understandably of course - so I'm not sure he's got the stamina for back-to-back games yet. I would like to see him involved a bit more though, looks a real prospect (and obviously watching O'Donnell hit row Z with crosses is one of the most frustrating footballing experiences in a while too).

I'm hearing that we've FINALLY agreed a fee with Mansfield for Matt Green.

Fuck knows what they've got us to pay, probably way more than he's worth but at least it's happening now.
