He has officially handed in a transfer request and is not being named on the bench despite being fit, so he is definitely going.

I doubt they'd accept 350k but I think you'll find that's closer in value to a bid that will get accepted (if one does) than some of the extortionate valuations that have been flying around on here. I think if a higher league club really wanted him 500k-600k and he's gone.

Still rumours of Charlie Wyke to Preston. Somebody initially stated 400k (buyout clause) but apparently it's less than that, I'd say Bogle is worth a fair bit more than him.

Honestly can't see Grimsby letting him go for that little, wouldn't be surprised if Rotherham came in for Wyke instead.

It's all nonsense, I've seen 4 rumours for Akinde in the last 24 hours for Bradford, Sheffield Utd, Southend and Shrewsbury. All around 300-400k and I don't beleive any of them.

Rumour is that Rotherham have grown weary of negotiating with small-fry like Grimsby and have turned their attention to the division's premier striker, Jon Stead. Stead is out of contract in the summer so the Millers are hoping to tie up a cut-price deal of around £200k. Good business for everyone - I'd like us to look at re-investing the cash in someone like John Akinde, Omar Bogle or Darius Henderson.

He scored a few ( and I really mean a few) important goals that season. He's a cracking lad too.

We had him on loan last season and was terrible but he was being compared to Matt Rhead who is the best of his type in non-league.

At it turned out, he went to Torquay and got a run of games, doing ok. Not sure how many he's scored this season. People assume is a target man because of his height, but not really his game (which was part of his downfall here).

Given centre back is not relatively a problem for us, it rather suggests that one of them presumably Osbourne is on their way out on loan or permanently.

Ross Etheridge recalled from his loan spell at Alfreton by Doncaster Rovers.

His last minute inclusion as a lack of communication between himself and the defenders in front of him cost us a win v Telford but without him we would had lost away to Telford and his magnificent point blank save in the last seconds at home to Telford was incredible.
