Like, Luton lads, Ollie Palmer:

- 6'5ish, has no strength however. Isn't as good in the air as he should be as he takes up wank starting positions.
- Runs around a lot and shows #passion, however this normally means he's always out of position.
- Has minimal technical ability.
- Has the composure of a nervous wreck.
That isn't a one off.
You sure you're not talking about our Michael Smith?

Oh so it was you who put up that vid on Outlaws just now

Ha. Wasn't me mate. Videos done the rounds a fair bit. It literally shows Ollie Palmer in one clip. (At least the Ollie Palmer from Orient and Mansfield Town).

You sure you're not talking about our Michael Smith?

I work with a Pompey fan and the comparisons have been made already!

Palmer sort of fits with Jones comment about the player coming in being a different type of player than we currently have.

Would guess he would be someone to use off the bench or when Hylton is suspended, but yeah, not exactly an inspiring one.

Hahahahahahaha

If you've signed Palmer that would be hilerious. Why?

We've got 5 or 6 better forwards if you want one of those instead?

Seriously though, why?

I'd only hope it would be a loan to the end of the year if anything, because long term he's not going to be the answer. If we end up with him and lose all these players it will be a terrible day. No team though in their right mind would spend £1m+ on a player with a broken leg...would they?

Losing Walton is bad, but we will obviously sign someone else so let's wait and see on that.

Losing McGeehan would be sad (depending on fee), but would make absolutely no difference to our success or failure this season due to the injury.

Losing CMS (even if Palmer is his replacement) wouldn't make much difference at all either, although it'd probably save us a shit-ton in wages at least. Not exactly disastrous swapping one limited fourth choice striker for another is it? Palmer has scored more goals this season than CMS has managed in 18 months for us (and a vastly better goals to minutes ratio too so not just a symptom of the injury issues either).

Palmer always plays quite well against us so I'm hoping this is true so we don't have to face him on Saturday.

Last season he made a run, controlled a long ball perfectly, skinned our centre back putting him on his backside, ran towards goal then put it through the keepers legs.

Rumour developing that we've signed Ollie fcuking Palmer from Orient.

Not exactly inspiring to say the least if true, I'd expect a full-pelt Outlaws meltdown if that one is confirmed (especially if McGeehan leaves which seems to be picking up pace, still can't see that one though).

That would be comical.

Alex Macdonald is a good signing from the little I have seen of him, 1/2 more to come in and possibly out.

I really hope we don't sell Green though, some people seem to think we can do easily better know just because Evans is our manager.

Hoban is available from us I imagine and he's a lot better than Palmer.

Did he? Normally he makes a run, falls over himself on his own backside runs towards goal then blasts an easy chance over the bar from 10cms out.

Did you get him confused with someone else

Oxford and Bradford want Green apperantly, be mental to sell him.

Hoban wanted by Blackpool and Hemmings by Cambridge.

A journo from the Sun claiming we've rejected a bid of £750k rising to £1m for McGeehan. Barnsley improving their bid apparently.

If true, mental that a club like Barnsley are willing to spend that kind of money on a player with a broken leg.

Depends what were offered for green - it's not like we just rely on him now.

I'd keep Hoban, he offers something different.

Hemmings can go though

Probably the best thing he's done in an Orient shirt.

0.20 and 1.29 are the real Ollie Palmer

Palmer is probably the worst player in the league... no way should we ever of dug him out of non league.

He's that awful that he doesn't deserve to be a professional. What idiot at luton has decided to sign him?!

Ya mad.

Green only striker who proven to always get decent double figures for us, Hoban not good enough.

If we got somebody proven to score a similar amount that's fine.

He's a winger isn't he? Would be happy with that. We lack a bit of spark

About as mental as you lot rejecting that kind of money for a player with a broken leg.

I'm sure he came off the bench that game and changed the game in Orient's favour, I thought he was meant to be useless! I wouldn't want him here though.

Not that mental if Barnsley are going straight back in with another bid, we obviously think we can get a better price whether now or next season.

Luton sign Reading youth keeper Stuart Moore on loan until the end of the season to replace Walton.

Played a couple of times for them in the Trophy this season and a very brief spell at Peterborough last season. Doubt he'll be as good as Walton, just hope he doesn't turn out to be a liability.

We've signed forward Kabongo Tshimanga on loan from MK Dons.

But we're set to lose Ryan Hedges who is making a permanent move to Barnsley, which is a massive blow.

We have had 2 pretty decent loan keepers under Jones so just have to trust whoever does the keeper scouting for him gets it right again.

Not ideal at all though, the defence having to get used to another keeper etc.

Pretty sure he's a like-for-like replacement for Palmer.
