Barnsley have made a £750,000 bid for Cameron McGeehan rising to £1m, with a sell on clause the stumbling block.

They're either insane, stupid or both for offering that for someone with a broken leg. And he can do better than Barnsley too.

If he can do better than Barnsley, it seems to be the perfect time to nab him then...

Barnsley have just sold Conor Hourihane to Villa for about 1.25m rising to 2m (i know this because we got 20% sell-on) so I'm guessing they see him as a replacement

It's only a broken leg not damaged ligaments

Jean Louis Akpa-Akpro has gone on loan to Yeovil for the rest of the season.
It has not quite clicked for him at the Hive, but he has been effective when introduced from the bench. It does leave us a bit light up front and as things stand it does make it more possible for Shaun Batt to get some action once he recovers fitness, something that I thought would never happen again!

George Waring basically confirmed, doesn't inspire me at all. If we're left with him, Jabo and S. Miller I wouldn't be very confident for the rest of the season.

I won't presume he's shit without seeing him play, but at 22 you'd think he would have done more than 7 goals in 46 career appearances if he was any good.

Time for Shaun Miller to step up I think. We know he's capable.

Aren't target men supposed to be able to a) hold the ball up b) win well-directed flick-ons and c) be able to control a long ball on their chest or feet and d) be capable of bringing others into play once c) has been accomplished? Because he is fucking shit at all of them.

He's really good at running quite quickly towards opposition defenders and deflecting their clearances off for throw ins.

We had a similar issue with him. We always thought he was a nice decent lad, just crap. Then he slagged the fans off for no real reason (there has been many a player down the years who could have justifiably had a go at our home ends).

His problem being like you say is that he's not bulky enough to be a target man, never wins a header, doesn't possess the quality to bring down the ball, control it and pass to his own team or to run fast.

It's that he thought he was gods gift when he left us, and I genuinely can't remember a worse forward than him playing for us in the league.

Maybe he'll come good for Luton, but then again maybe I'll win the euro millions

Orient sign Rowan Liburd from Stevenage. Pretty sure I've seen him play. Don't recall a thing about him so that probably means he's useless. mowgli help me out?

I saw Rowan Liburd play for Thamesmead once. He looked alright and scored six in eight for them, but obviously that was four levels below this one!

Farewell Stan. Love the guy, but it's probably for the best, he hasn't got on with any manager other than Moniz or done anything consistently for ages. There's a reason why a guy once seen as a star of the future by Ajax is spending his career in backwater leagues all over the place. One of the most naturally gifted players i've ever had the pleasure of watching regularly, though, for a few months under Moniz he was a different level to anything else we came across.

Suspect he'll go to Eindhoven and take the piss out of that league as well.

Seen Palmer and Hoban plenty of times and he's better in just about every department to Ollie.

He's so lucky to be a professional footballer, fair play to him like for getting these moves though.

We should get him in on a 4 year deal then!

Charlie Wyke pictured with the Bradford shirt, but why's it not been announced yet?

The fact we're yet to see a left back is very worrying.

The conference's favourite loan man Jonathan Margetts has signed on loan for the rest of season.

"There was stiff competition from National League leaders and FA Cup heroes Lincoln City, but the former Tranmere Rovers man has thrown his weight behind Crewe’s fight for League Two survival."

I'm sorry but Pat Hoban is absolutely fucking awful.

And another striker. We only have 3 and one of those is a completely unproven loanee.

Unless something drastic happens in the next few hours our promotion hopes look fucked.

We've just signed Jamie Proctor from Bolton.

Fairly pleased with that and softens the Wyke blow

Proctor was our plan B if Doyle loan didn't materialise.

Which of the two strikers does the business could well decide the 3rd promotion spot.

Funnily enough we signed Proctor on loan around this time last year and he did a good job tbf, scored a few and is reasonably skilful, I reckon he's a good signing for L2 although I can't say Bolton fans will say the same
