Long story but in short I think we're fucked. Had three winding up orders, all of which our chairman arrogantly dismisses in the press and twitter, we're taking out loans secured against the club's assets from companies the equivalent of Wonga, we have some very shady individuals involved in the background trying to buy the land around the ground to develop property. Not looking good.

If our fans could stop bickering with each other (some have their head firmly shoved up the chairman's arse) whilst others have been doing their research then the trust could take over the club but because of politics there's a section of our fanbase who mistrust the trust (nice rhyme) more than our slimey PR guru who we call the chairman.

Be an absolute shame if we lost yet another lower league North East team. Include North Yorkshire in that and we've lost every lower league side north of Doncaster on that side of England if you lot go down.

There aren't that many surely? York, Scarborough and Darlo are all I can think of?

We've cancelled the contracts of Genaro Snijders and Graham Burke. Neither any great loss, if we're honest.

Just a question of facing up to reality. I'd rather be trust owned and non league, maybe winning more games instead of being lied to, asset stripped and constantly wondering where the next point is coming from.

Pompey have signed Stan Aborah. Really surprised that he's stayed in England.

You lot were raving about him a couple of years back...

He's the most naturally gifted footballer I've seen at this level, Notts or otherwise.

A bit of an enigma though, shall we say.

Love Stanley.

Wasn't suited to being in a shit team, will probably be a star in a decent side, where someone can do the hard work for him

I've gone back and forth on Aborah - very talented but flatters to deceive, nice bloke but managers hate his work ethic, I thought he was a good player but was never that upset when he wasn't in the team. A complete enigma. One of those players who would be better playing at a higher level - if you believe in that sort of thing. Signing probably won't work out by virtue of the fact their manager isn't Ricardo Moniz.

Daniel Udoh out on loan to Solihull. Beginning of the end I imagine. We aren't flush with out and out strikers so to let him go says a lot. It'll upset a few fans who seem to rate him for some reason (with never-played-a-pro-game Dave Richards) but he's just looked like your typical Davis random lower league punt destined for failure.

Udoh's only popular cos the College kids who support us always see him out in Nantwich and he makes time for them. Yet again our young fans think cos a player is nice to them and acknowledges them then they must be good. (See Matt Tootle for another example)

I think it was Baker who spotted him and said to the Chronicle when we were about to go down "I've already told him about his next move he's going to be that good"

Just smacks of hopeless Davis desperation, probably knew Ilkeston were in financial trouble so took a punt on their top scorer for peanuts. Probably a nice lad but time to move on and wish him well.

I stopped listening to Baker when he told us we were wrong to rate Anthony Grant. Udoh fallen further away from the team the worse we've got, he'll be gone in the summer I suspect. Part of DA's clear out. Callum Saunders too if there's any justice but given he's an academy lad, he'll get an extra 5 years to prove himself.

Could literally say in confidence now Saunders, Ng, Daddy's Boy, Richards and Bingham are being released. Udoh has another year on his deal but I suspect we'll do what we did with Liam Nolan and offer him to a non league club on a free.

Guthrie and Garratt will both go on their own accord which is no big loss regarding the former (I really don't think he's as good as people think but deserves credit for his rise in the game) but the latter going makes an experienced keeper our #1 target in the Summer.

Interestingly, our entire squad bar Dagnall is out of contract this season (though we'll almost certainly trigger George Cooper's one year extension and probably give him a wage rise to tie him down till 2019). Will be a very interesting Summer ahead that's for sure...

Signed Irish striker Ryan Swan from UCD until the end of the season. Sounds like we have an option to make the deal longer if he impresses...

He's done well in Ireland and scored a few goals in the Europa League but god knows how he will adapt to L2. Graham Cummins was highly rated in Ireland and he turned out to be distinctly average so we will have to see.

Doesn't sound like we should expect him to feature much this season. There will be more space in next seasons squad when Watkins and Wheeler have left.

How are signings still being made? I thought the transfer window was over and only out of contract players could be signed?

Transfer window doesn't apply to non league. Non contracted players can be signed outside the transfer window for league clubs.

Pools fans - We have just signed another right back. Wes Atkinson on a 1 month loan from Notts County. Not sure where this leaves Richards. He hasnt been great in recent games giving the ball away a lot and being wastful. Unless he moves in to a holding midfielder position his loan make come to an end?

Like I said at the time he isn't league standard, probably find himself among the Northern League next season like a lot of ex Pools youngsters.

Would've thought he'd be alright at Conference North level, but says a lot that the 17 year old currently playing right back for us, completely out of desperation and to top it off, is a converted winger, has not done any worse than Richards probably says something. It's over for him.

Think young Kenton will eventually settle as back up for Magnay once he's back from injury. Leaving Richards a goner.

Be afraid. We've just signed John Akinde's younger brother.

We'll still concede in the last minute. But Akinde (pen) is now a double chance of happening!

Calder is very one footed and lazy, very disappointed with him to be fair. Ross made some mistakes and the usual boo boys got on his back giving him a lack of confidence, not really had a chance with us.

Jordan Richards loan from Hartlepool to Alfreton has been extended until the end of the season.

How's he doing?

Seems strange that despite us only having 3 fit defenders he was allowed to stay out on loan - probably signals the end for him, so could be a potential signing should he impress

We've signed ex-West Brom graduate Samir Nabi and Barnet reject Ben Tomlinson. That's now 5 free agent signing in the past few weeks, reeks of desperation.

Or reeks of an injury crisis.

I don't know what else we can do. There's no emergency loan market and it's past January. Free agents that couldn't get clubs are all that is available.

They might work out, they probably won't but at least we'll be able to have a subs bench that isn't filled with youth team players.
